After bonding with Feathers and then joining the Dragon Club, Alex overcame her fear of Thunder entirely, and the two have since formed a good friendship with each other. Both care about each other's wellbeing and are willing to help one another during battle and other serious situations. Like the other riders, Alex was shown to be concerned about Thunder's wellbeing when he journeyed into the Hidden World to face his old rival, and journeyed after him to find him.
