I saw a picture of the large Dragon 1/6 "Jeep" and I really liked all the Jerry can's and and little parts hanging off the Jeep including the helmet covers. One slight annoyance is that I have a couple of German-style jerry cans that I wanted to use, but they are slightly larger than the allied ones, and won't quite fit into the storage rack that I've built.

What I've been wondering is now that I have a thin layer of oil paint (applied with a white spirit thinner), if adding another layer of oil-based filter (with more white spirit) would start to remove the dot-filter layer. If not, should I start thinking of changing the color of the jeep to a green or thee tone camouflage to match the figures uniforms? They're a bit agricultural, but hopefully with a lick of paint, some weathering and some stowage, they'll blend in a bit.
