Again, as a non-DJ, I have only used this as a fun thing to look at, rather than for any practical purpose. The exterior of the turntable is magnificent. This is confirmed when we compare the Technics to our current favourite at this level, the Rega Planar 3/Elys 2. Once you add the price of a decent phono stage to the Rega, the two cost broadly the same. Yet, in many ways they’re aimed at different users. In wrapping up, I’ve been genuinely impressed by the SL-100C. Its design and performance stand out, offering a great listening experience that’s sure to please music enthusiasts. It’s a reminder of why we love this classic method of enjoying our favorite tunes. Further, there is so little lost (except frills) on the 1500c that it's re-written my opinion of the company ,who I now think don't do hype, they just make an honest, excellent product at each price level.
