Imagineer developed the games and also publish them in Japan. Imagineer likely don't have the resources to self-publish in the West, hence Nintendo helping out with international publishing duties, but their involvement appears to end there.

This game was able to distract me from how I was bouncing around by giving me a gauge to follow. Finally, we have to discuss arguably the best fitness game on Nintendo Switch (and quite possibly of all time), Ring Fit Adventure. This is probably the best example of gamifying a fitness experience due to its smart design. It doesn't actually matter what punches you throw. As long as it registers some sort of punch, it'll consider it done. I also find it fairly inconsistent in actually registering punches. I was really impressed with how much cardio I got from playing Fitness Boxing 2. However, the game does have a few shortcomings. Fitness Boxing 2: Rhythm and Exercise is controlled entirely with motion controls, with the player holding a Joy-Con in each hand to register punches, thrusts and general movements of your upper body. Jabs, uppercuts and straights are registered with surprising accuracy, more so for those who are willing to move their body to the rhythm of each song. I have fitness boxing and use it quite regularly. I see no need to upgrade at this time. Half the time I turn on my own music anyways as you can easily follow the “rhythm” from the visual cues.

Your character has long arms (hence the name) that you can control and use to outsmart your opponent. You can move the left and right arms independently, and when you use the game’s intuitive motion controls, it’s easy to get some exercise even if you play only a couple of rounds.
