Surfaces must be thoroughly cleaned and prepared by appropriate sanding methods. Using a maroon pad or 320-400 grit sandpaper is recommended to lightly scuff the floor. Prior to the coating application, remove all dust from floor and surrounding structures. Always protect neighbouring surfaces including carpet, metal and other surfaces. Slips and trips in the workplace The HSE has a number of guidelines on the responsibilities of employers to maintain flooring safety in the workplace. According to the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974, it is your responsibility as an employer to ensure the safety of employees and visitors to the workplace, and this includes ensuring that the flooring is safe and that slip-prone areas are well-marked. SlipDoctors GripX is a durable anti-slip coating specifically formulated to increase the slip resistance on tiles, natural, stamped, and stained concrete, sealed surfaces, and most other natural stone. GripX is an easy-to-apply roll on coating that once cured has a semi-gloss textured finish and can be used indoors or outdoors. Sample Testing: Before initial treatment, test on one tile in an inconspicuous area of your floor. Thoroughly clean and dry the test tile. Spread a small amount of the solution completely over the test tile and note the time. Every 30 seconds use a rubber-soled shoe to apply downward pressure and try to slide the shoe along the treated surface. DO NOT LET STONE GRIP DRY ON THE SURFACE. When you feel you have achieved the level of slip resistance you desire, rinse the test tile with the prepared neutralizer. Make note of the total amount of time you left the solution on the tile. Typically, this time will be between 5-15 minutes. This is not a case where longer treatment time is better. It is important not to over-treat the surface. As soon as there is a reasonable resistance to the pressure of the shoe, you should apply the neutralizer. You can perform multiple tests if you are unsure of the initial test results.

Anti-Slip Tapes Buying Guide

GripClad®’s abrasive standard tape provides excellent levels of grip and friction, and abrasive coarse tape provides industrial grade grip. Once ready for full application, determine the number of coats you plan to apply. Prepare solution for each coat separately in a sturdy container. Add the appropriate amount of Crosslinker to the container, dividing it between the containers for each coat. NOTE: Once Crosslinker is added to the Floor Grip, solution must be applied to the floor within 4-6 hours. CAUTION: MIX WELL BEFORE APPLYING Step 2: Floor Grip can be applied in either 2 or 3 coats. Each coat consists of: Floor Grip + Crosslinker + Additive

Like many other movements, the floor press can be programmed to increase muscle mass (hypertrophy) with increased training volume at moderate to heavy loads. This is a great exercise to develop huge and strong tricepsand can be used in place of dips or to accompany a pressing program. Anti-slip cleats Anti-slip cleats are gritted, durable and provide a visual warning for surfaces. Our Setonwalk Anti-Slip Cleats are high traction and can be easily applied in both indoor and outdoor environments. We also offer long-lasting Mop-Friendly Anti-Slip Cleats for areas that experience high traffic and are often cleaned. For industrial vehicles, equipment and zones, we offer the Heavy-Duty Coarse Anti-Slip Surfacing Cleats, which are made to withstand the extreme pressures of heavy-duty manufacturing environments. Step 1: TEST SAMPLE: Floor Grip should be tested on flooring surfaces before full application. To prepare test sample, pour a small amount of Floor Grip into a separate container with a small amount of additive, mix well, do not shake. Apply to a clean inconspicuous area of your floor and allow to dry completely. Surface Preparation: Clean surface using pH-neutral cleaner or power-wash, rinse and allow to dry thoroughly before application. Ideally the surface should have been dry for a few days to ensure there is no moisture trapped underneath before sealing. For best adhesion, the surface can be lightly sanded with a soft grit sandpaper or etched using SlipDoctors Maintain Grip. Below are three primary training goals and programming recommendations when programming the floor presses into workouts. Note, that these are general guidelines, and by no means should be used as the only way to program the floor press. To Gain MuscleSurfaces must be thoroughly cleaned. *Not required* For increased adhesion by sanding use a maroon pad or 320-400 grit sandpaper to lightly scuff the floor. Add appropriate amount of additive to solution, depending on number of coats, and mix well. Medium texture is recommended. Read additive bottle label for instructions. Using a paint roller, apply Floor Grip in uniform coats at a moderate speed to prevent Below is a step-by-step guide on how to perform the floor press. Note that in the below instructions, the barbell floor press is demonstrated. However, the steps are nearly identical if you were to use dumbbells or kettlebells (both of which are fine options.)
