I'm going to go into my local BBW to confirm this, but I know I'm right because back in the day, I wore that scent like it was going out of style.

They mention that its a lovely perfume, cheapest place for designer smells, absolutely stunning and that its an excellent product. However, Amour is very light and doesn't last long on me at all, even when I overspray, which is an absolute shame since this is such a beautiful scent.

Vis-à-vis the general fragrant landscape of late, it's nothing special: a casual (but not exactly "fun"), well-balanced, modern take on vanilla that never overwhelms or cloys. I got all three (really good deal) for the look and I don't smell any variation aside from the slight batch differences between the white and the other two. A base of exotic Woody notes, Vanilla, Incense and Musk lends the fragrance an unmistakably romantic aura. They are similar on surface level, but to say that Amour is an alternative to Hypnotic Poison EDT I feel is quite a stretch if you ask me!

Maybe this comes to mind because of the studies that say men are attracted to scents like vanilla and baby powder? I think it’s more wearable/less of a statement than Dior HP, bc it’s softer and sits closer to the skin.This doesnt come off powdery on me at all, but sweet/sour and nutty, with the softer Pour Femme element more prominent after 30 mins of wear. Would consider purchasing if it had greater sillage and longevity, since I appreciate perfumes with a bit more intensity for myself. The simplicity, the Japanese aesthetic of the design as well as the lovely, creamy, musky nurturing scent fit my transition from dark to light, drama to simplicity, musty corners to big, bright skies perfectly. I find myself reaching for it for various times of the day, it makes me feel clean and feminine and I love this after a shower. The problem is, while I adore the clear vanilla-rice dry down, I strongly dislike the heavy incense it starts out with.
