Fosi Audio claims that the amplifier is able to provide up to 600 W of power (300 W per channel), though the company does not specify at what impedance – I suspect it is at 4 Ω. This claim, however, goes in direct contradiction with the maximum amount of power supplied by the PSU: 160 W (32 V, 5 A). Unless they have discovered the Holy Grail of free energy generation, the actual value of the output is probably going to be lower than that – in the ballpark of 150 W, I would say, so around 75 W per channel of sustained output. So where does the 300 W figure come from? The answer (probably) lies in the amplifier chip, a Texas Instruments TPA3255. Its spec sheet says that it can handle up to 315 W per channel; this is however different from the amplifier effectively offering that kind of power. Sound Build quality feels great overall, but with such budget items I guess time will tell. The on/off switch is sturdy, and the volume and tone controls are smooth in use. I personally use banana plugs on my speaker cables, when the terminals are tight together like on the TB10D is does make it neater. Turning the units around, both allow you to connect one RCA input and one set of passive speakers. Neither of these amps allow for connecting a turntable without a built in preamp or using an external phono preamp. If the ingredients of this amp were transferred to a larger unit with more inputs I would seriously consider such a product for my main system. Fosi configured the TB10D as a 2 channel design internally bridging it down to two channels and using an appropriate filter. They included a 32V 5A power supply and given the 90% efficiency rating of the amp we should expect no more than about 80W per channel (32V x 5A * 90%= 160W /2 channels). Fosi Audio V3 is a mini HiFi class-D power amplifier tailored for audiophiles by Fosi Audio based on the voice of users. This is a pure amplifier designed only for high-fidelity sound enjoyment. I then connected the TB10D using 10 gauge professional cable (Blue Jeans Cables) terminated on the ends with banana connectors, to the KEF Q150 and Q350 speakers (alternating between the two). The TB10D was fed by a variety of DAC units using a custom-made 8-way in (1 out) RCA switcher custom-built by Maple Tree Audio Design from Canada. This enabled me to use a variety of attached DAC/Head-amp units to determine sound variations with the amp.
