I think it’s a great addition to an EDC for those of us who like carrying more than one pen and don’t like the idea of carrying a nice pen in your pocket. The mesh pocket is just large enough to only hold a small Moleskine sketchbook without anything else in the pocket. This large-capacity BIG size pen case that can hold about 22 pens and can also hold scissors and an 18 cm ruler. I was able to hold 17 pens comfortably along with a flash drive, small stylus, iPad camera connection kit, ruler and a small sketchbook.It has two storage compartments large enough to fit about 8 fountain or larger pens and a sleeve over the top that keeps pens from falling out when it is closed. I have 24 pens or pen-like things in mine* and 10 (or so, paper clips are counted as one thing) other things including an eraser, Swiss Army Knife, stapler, pencil sharpener, notepad etc. On the inside of the front there are two roughly inch-wide bands to hold in pens, and on the back inside there is a simple mesh covering about half the area (to hold other items). This is probably one of the best cases that I have to keep my pens organized and everything ready to go.
