While the romance in Bring Me Back is great, I think what I really loved about the book is all of the topics that Kristen covered and made her own. They’re driving along the highway when Finn decides to stop at a service station to use the restroom. Then, there is this “happy end” – I mean “a second chance in happiness” but as you may guess, it is a bitter-sweet one and I really really really had a hard time with the “timing of this second chance in happiness”.

All of that said, I read this in less than 24 hours, which is rare, and a solid testament to this author’s capabilities. I enjoyed watching them become friends and how with each minute together, their connection strengthens. The attempts at casting doubts on various characters just didn’t sway me from my original supposition, which sucked all the suspense out of the equation. And let's not even talk about the drama and the "plot twist" that happened out of nowhere at 90% of this book.

So if you are looking for a compulsive read with the help of some Russian Stacking Dolls to solve this mystery then this book is for you! A plot that was a mix of emotional, healing, suspenseful and gasp worthy at the same time that made this powerful story absolutely epic! Despite all the issues I had, I did have fun reading this and I enjoyed how the Russian nesting dolls were woven in.
