Use Flatulate and (here's the important part) WAIT for Flatulate to finish its cooldown completely, THEN hit Explode.if you just put the costume on right when you have scouted where you want to go and put it on when you're ready to get you abom, it'll never come off. There are a lot of 'secrets' to this quest posted here, but none of them seem to work with any kind of repeatability. So I decided to ignore all of them, and I looked at this one from a WoW pet mechanics angle. I may note that this type of quest was always bugged but at least it worked with my 2 other chars but strangely not with my mage (probably patch problems). If you fly away from your abomination at full speed you probably won't get credit, but if you do something to just slow yourself down slightly you can get credit. I once put myself up against a fence that wasn't high enough and I flew over it, but it did take me a few tenths of a second longer to fly away than if I hadn't even tried and I successfully got credit for the kills. THE SECRET IS TO **************NOT************** USE **********YOUR******************** ABILITIES (only the "pet"'s) DO NOT EVEN AGRO THEM. All of the mobs are in range, I just don't get quest credit for the kills when my pet explodes. I've also gone down 50k xp per hour since starting this quest.

I kept not getting credit, I had done it before with similar experiences and this is a very annoying, frustrating quest. I found that yes you need to keep him still, fart a lot and kill about 4 at a time. If i pulled more than that i would not get credit.
