Description

In Mario Golf: Super Rush, Bowser's Fire Breath is referred to as the Power of Flame. He uses it to conquer Mount Snow by awakening the dormant volcano and make it erupt and destroy the kingdom so he can terraform it into his own golf course: Bowser Highlands. After Fire Mario wakes up Bowser at the end of the Golf Adventure mode, he uses the Power of Flame again to defeat the Snow King and restore his course.

The Super Mario Bros. Movie Bowser 18cm Fire Breathing Figure

According to the official reveal, these figures will be hitting store shelves on 26th February, at which point we will be able to see the full line of merchandise that will also include more posable figures, accessories, play sets, plushies and remote control toys. That fire-breathing Bowser will probably make an official appearance around that time too, probably. Obviously, it’s not actually smoke, and it’s not steam either – there’s no way in hell that Jakks would get away with making a kid’s toy that heats up water to that degree. I don't usually go out of my way to buy Jakks Pacific's Mario toys (I have enough shelf space taken up by amiibo, Nendoroids, and other figurines) but I have a mighty need for that Bowser. Larger items like heavy furniture and electricals cost more to deliver as they usually require more than one delivery person and a large delivery van.Toad an Peach LOOK like they are better, but if you look closely you'll notice that's because they joints are hidden in the poises the are in. From any other angle or in any other position, they are going to look like hideous monsters. In Luigi's Mansion, King Boo uses Fire Breath during his final battle, where he dons a Bowser suit. I like Jakks Pacific, and I understand why. But I really wish they'd branch away from Mario and Pokemon toys more often. That said, they look like very nice toys. I especially like Toad and Luigi. Yeah, they can’t hold a candle to the fire-breathing Bowser. Shouldn’t Peach be the one who wields the frying pan? I’ll be more interested in Bowser, the Kongs, or even more minor characters like Foreman Spike. The others require a bit of studying before you spot the various slots and notches designed to attach each character’s feet or bum to their vehicle, but once you get it they remain pretty sturdy.

In Mario Sports Mix, Bowser uses fire in Dodgeball. In this sport, he spits a fireball on the court, near the goal, and throws the sports object toward the goal. Each character can be removed from their vehicle and used as a standalone, smaller figure. Because of each character’s unique shape, though, you can’t really put them in other characters’ vehicles – they only really fit in their own. Overall, though, these are fun. Each rider is fully articulated, and can be stood next to their vehicle Where to buy The figure itself stands at about 7” tall, compared to the standard 4” of Jakks’ other articulated Mario figures, so it already has something of a dominating presence when you place it next to the others.
