Nástřik bude podvozek auta chránit 4 až cca 10 měsíců. Pokud bude vrstva po čase někde chybět, stačí místo znovu nastříkat a nová vrstva se spojí s tou původní.V případě například veteránů, resp. při malém provozu motorky/auta vydrží vrstva XCP určitě několik let. Sám se totiž nevypařuje, neschne. Ztrátovost je pouze vnějšími vlivy (provoz v zimě, v bahně a pod.).
