She’s been well designed with a small profile and cylindrical shape which makes her easy to store when you’re not using her. However, within that is plenty of power and space to store large amounts of dust and dirt. There is essentially no difference between the Hetty and Henry, other than her appearance. You can read our full review of this machine here. litres dry dust bin capacity, which is a huge amount of space. Wet, the Charles holds 9 litres. An easy-to-operate switch goes between the two. Alas, there is no choice. All of the Henry vacuum cleaners in the range are floor vacuums. That just means that they don’t stand upright, and that they roll around on the floor on wheels. You drag the vacuum along behind you while you use the hose. Henry is probably the most iconic vacuum cleaner in the world. While the cute face catches the eye, Henry has remained popular due to its powerful suction, no-nonsense design and large capacity.

In Britain the Hoover became synonymous with the word vacuum cleaner. Around about the same time as this was happening (the mid-80’s) was when Henry vacuum cleaners were first making a rise. We will forever have the Henry as a result. What’s the best Henry for dog and cat hair? Love a Henry but want to go for one of the best cordless vacuums? The Henry HVB160 cordless vacuum cleaner is well worth a look. Our reviewer Sarah gave it 4.5 stars and thinks it's great for smaller homes as its battery life only lasts for 30 minutes. Our reviewer Linda was the perfect candidate to try out the Henry Allergy vac. Her busy family home has three dogs and a family member who suffers from allergies. In her testing quest, she discovered that the HEPA filter at work here is good for keeping dust at bay and that the large capacity and bagged design mean you're more likely to keep allergens out of social spaces. In terms of performance, Linda found that the Henry Pet aced the tests she set out for it, whether that was taking care of spilt flour or getting behind her radiators to banish dust.A: Harry, Henry, Henry Xtra, and Hetty, all come in at the same price point. You will find they are all the cheapest of the Henry vacuum cleaner range. In addition to the AiroBrush, the Xtra comes with a separate hard floor brush that you’ve guessed it, is great for cleaning those harder surfaces. This means that you have additional, specialist floor heads for cleaning both carpets and hard floors when you opt for the Henry Xtra. A gentle tug on the hose is all that’s needed to get Henry Xtra to follow you wherever you go. The four wheels give him good manoeuvrability and although he’s too big to rest on the stairs, the hose is long enough to reach up most flights of stairs while he rests at the bottom. Over the years we’ve seen his family grow rapidly. We’ve since been introduced to Hetty, Charles, George and James, among others. They specialise in all sorts of jobs whether it’s clearing up troublesome pet hair or devouring spilled liquids. Only one of the included attachments is designed for cleaning up hair. The rest are normal Henry attachments. Only one of the included attachments is designed for cleaning up hair. The rest are normal Henry attachments.

The Henry Micro – is the best vacuum for those with allergies. It uses special filtration to add an extra layer of dust-proofing. First introduced more than four decades ago, the range has evolved considerably, and although the distinctive red Henry is perhaps the most recognisable member of the expanding family, he’s far from the only option. With varying collection chamber sizes, attachments, motors and tool sets, it’s not always obvious which is the best for your needs. Henry’s little sister is Hetty. She comes with all the same features as Henry, but the introduction of Eco technology helps you to save the planet and your wallet at the same time. A smaller size means she’s easier to store, but a 9-litre bag capacity, means there’s plenty of dust storage room. Hetty – slightly less powerful and more compact, Hetty is recognisable by her flashy pink appearance. Energy-Efficient Performance: The Henry Reach is built with energy efficiency in mind, minimizing power consumption without compromising on cleaning prowess, saving you both time and energy.

Henry Allergy

The Henry range of vacuum cleaners tend to vary in dustbin capacity. The traditional models have 9L, while the wet and dry models have a 9L wet capacity but a 15L dry dirt capacity. Is it Bagless?

A: This depends on what you need it for. The best overall in terms of performance is definitely the regular Henry as he is good all-round. However, George and Charles will clean up wet spills, too. Harry is the best for pet owners since it will get all that pet hair up, but Hetty can also hold her own. The most thorough suction is probably on the Henry Micro, which has extra filtration for dust particles and works hard to keep your home allergen free. Some people prefer the ability to wind the cable in and James allows you to do that. He also has a caddy in which he can nicely store away and attachments. A plugged cable means it is pretty easy to replace the mains cable. There's one downside to this wider range of choice though: it can be hard to know which vac to choose. One of the great aspects of this is its allergy retention, which is great for those of us who start sneezing every time the dust gets agitated.
