Description

The holding bag has a collection capacity of 40 litres and attaches underneath the GardenVac, but it needs some dexterity to clip it on - if it’s not done correctly the vac won’t work. Posts are for general information, are not intended to substitute for informed professional advice (medical, legal, veterinary, financial, etc. The bag is attached by a flexible plastic skirt, which isn't very secure, and comes apart in places very easily.

The same goes for the strap; the original is broader and has a shoulder pad, so has been transferred to the new machine. If you find that your Flymo lawnmower is creating radio interference a faulty capacitor can be the cause behind it. The base hasn't got any LED light showing - usually its different colours to indicate a fault but this is dead. In general, it's important to regularly maintain and service your Garden Vac to prevent issues from occurring. It is fairly heavy to use so the optional extra of a Flymo wheel that clips on the end might be useful to take some of the strain.

Much time is spent wiggling the business end up, down and about to get the angle just right so that it works. It may be that they're all like this, but all in all I think the Flymo Garden Vac 2200w Turbo leaf blower is a no-no. Shredding leaves as they are collected, the Jet Vacuum feature is perfect for picking up even wet leaves, and other stubborn debris. It’s powerful and robust and comes with a one-year warranty, extended to two if registered on purchase. There is a newer, Flymo model, the 3000w PowerVac, but it does not have the same sucking power as the GardenVac, 168 litres per second against 250 l/s.The site and services are provided "as is" with no warranty or representations by JustAnswer regarding the qualifications of Experts. Had my old Flymo Vac for around ten years, it gave up the ghost finally when the trigger mechanism went floppy and stopped working.

The purpose of my purchase wasn’t to ‘blow’ but to suck up the dropped dropped petals from my Wysteria. With a collection capacity of 40 litres and a shredding ratio of 3:1, leaves are no task for this blower vac. It also shreds the leaves, but this is of dubious benefit because it just means that the device is even heavier when full, and if you drop any it makes an even worse mess. The mulching method seems less prone to jams than a Robert days item I had previously, which had to constantly be opened to clear. I used it mainly for collecting up leaves although it had plenty of other uses such as collecting hedge clippings or grass clippings when edging and it served its purpose for cleaning up after using a chain saw or shredding branches. When vaccing, the air drawn in has to come out somewhere and this is through the bottom of the sack which hangs immediately below the motor, thus blowing air back out on to the surface you're trying to clean and scattering the very stuff you want to suck up. I recently bought the Flymo 2700 garden vac, primarily for vacuuming lawn clippings from around our pool. The machine is also quite big and bulky in storage but the strap can be used to hang it up, which is helpful. This makes gaps between the bag and the machine, through which leaves it has managed to pick up, escape.
