I hope this can help at least one person reading. And again sorry if this isnt the section to post in, if it can be moved great, and again, please feel free to copy and paste to any releveant subreddits/non reddit forums. You can then take out 2 screws on the inner circuit board to release the original cable, unplug said cable and attach the new. EDIT: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HKO-QubAe9s someone (this is not me) made a video to show how a similar mouse is taken apart, this is a very similar process to what i did. - Just some visual aid for you all!

Razer mouse disconnecting (Solved) : r/razer - Reddit Razer mouse disconnecting (Solved) : r/razer - Reddit

Since 1982, PCMag has tested and rated thousands of products to help you make better buying decisions. See how we test. I originally posted this over at r/computers, but thought i would duplicate here as i had no idea this subreddit existed! So, last but not least, i decided to reinstall windows to hopefully nuke the issue for good. (Windows 7 ultimate, for those interested, i havent upgraded to 10) - i was kind of due a reinstall as it has been 5 years and my system felt cluttered. so to me this wasn't as a big of an issue, but it was also a test - doing this would prove that it was software/drivers/something i had missed, or if it was the mouse itself all along.I proceded to "isolate" 4inch/100mm segments of the cable sarting at the plug end (To isolate, i placed firm pressure on the 4inch mark so the cable leading to the mouse wouldnt move but i could wiggle the plug end freely) Long time lurker but making a post after having an issue where my mouse would disconnect and reconnect randomly (seemingly most of the time gaming, notibly overwatch) - Razer naga 2014. Going from low DPI to higher settings can cause issues in-game so be sure to spend some time getting acclimated to your new configuration. I have anywhere between 1500 and 3500 DPI, even though this particular model (Naga Hex V1) can reach 5600 DPI. Higher DPI doesn't necessarily mean better performance, which is something you should note when looking for a new mouse. It seems the naga, deathadder, and most likely all razer mice share this cable upon inspecting images and descriptions so please dont be disheartened if your mouse isnt listed. For the price, it is worth a punt even if it didnt fit (and i cannot see why razer would make 50 different cables for such a simple device)

Customizable MMO Wireless Gaming Mouse - Razer Naga V2 Pro

I did this along the whole lenght of the cable, and guess what? At a point close to the mouse it would randomly shut off/disconnect, just like it was doing during games! - no wiggle, no change, wiggle DISCONNECTION Okay, so, after having this issue for aprox 2 months and searching every forum/googlesearch/post/youtube video etc etc and not finding a solution, i decided to take matters into my own hands. (I would recomend reading on as i was thorough with my process, but if you want the fix, skip down to "solution")There are countless posts regarding this issue (or atleast what seems to be the same issue) if you google "mouse disconnecting/reconnecting during gaming" and i feel most could be related to this issue.
