Description

When you combine that with its 100-round capacity and fully automatic firing, the Nemesis is a seriously mean machine. Unlike previous blasters, the Nemesis uses a large removable hopper with an agitator that advances the rounds into its flywheels. It did have a few stutters when the conveyor belt did not deliver a round to the flywheels in time, but it kept up a pretty consistent, and high, rate of fire.

It is also practical as it takes out the grunt work of reloading mags and carrying dump pouches with a load of ammo is so much easier than mags. The rear sight on the top doubles as the catch, so you flip this over and then you can remove the hopper. Review of the Nerf Rival Nemesis, a powerful, full-automatic blaster with a large magazine, excellent performance, and intimidating looks. The Nemesis is a flywheel blaster, which means has two battery-powered wheels inside which grab the balls and fling them out of the barrel.

Drops off a bit on full auto using D cells, might have to try the NiMH pack but other than tthat awesome.

Apart from the slight delay between trigger pull and firing, it feels like pretty much any other full-auto blaster – short squeeze and you fire one or two rounds, hold it down and you get a string of darts. Fill the easy-loading hopper and unleash a blistering blast of rounds at a velocity of 100 feet per second (30 meters per second). The battery pack is stronger and lasts much longer than the D cell batteries, not to mention much cheaper in the long run. If you want to take part in an intense head-to-head battle with power and precision, look no further than the Nerf Rival Nemesis MXVII-10K blaster! I've fought against battery powered Nerf toys for a while now since I've always felt the important part of using Nerf blasters was that anyone can power the toy with a simple motion of pulling back a lever or whatever device primes the ammo and pulling the trigger.

Both the Nemesis and Khaos are pretty tough on batteries, so those big, expensive D batteries will not last that long and it only costs about as much 3/4 sets and believe me, you will be firing this a lot!The Rival blasters target the 14+ market and since I am over 6′ tall, I find they fit me better than most N-Strike Elite blasters, but the grips also seem to be fine for kids down to about 11 years old. Another neat feature of this hopper system is that if you forget to close the little entry door at the top of the hopper, the blaster won’t rev, and you won’t be able to shoot. As a high-performing, fully automatic blaster, the Nemesis is an excellent trailblazer for the Prometheus and Perses models. The Nerf Rival Nemesis is a game-changer in the revolutionary Rival series, with a huge magazine, great performance, and intimidating looks. You will find four sling points; two in the front close to the barrel, one just in front of the trigger, and one at the back.

Like its brethren blasters, it fire balls instead of darts, and fires them at speeds of up to 70 mph, or 102 feet per second. Because if you have 100 rounds to play with, of course, at least one of them will hit your target, right? To load ammo into the hopper and you simply slide open up the top door and drop in a hundred balls (I still find that awesome….Most of the time this was no problem as running around shakes them up plenty, but if you are on sentry duty, keep an eye open for this. Overall this is pretty rare, but it must be said that it does jam slightly more than the Khaos, but nowhere near as often as the HyperFire. I am serious when I say that I truly believe that NERF is for kids of all ages… including us big kids.
