It is not on page and not caused by the love interest, but for everybody interested in reading this book: it does paint a really realistic picture of the trauma that rape causes and is a constant companion throughout this book.

I would like to thank Netgalley and Bookouture for an advance copy of Broken Souls, the seventh novel to feature Detective Lottie Parker of the Ragmullin Garda. I loved the story and Michele Moran's narration just simply adds to the overall enjoyment of the listening experience. She has finally taken the steps necessary to take back her independence and heal from the tragedy that stunted her life.Writing is intelligent, sophisticated and thought-provoking, establishing Foyle's personality with so much depth already and providing some tense and heart-tugging moments. If the rescue at any time feels the animal is not being treated properly or the home is unsuitable we will remove the animal from your care. This slow-burn, strangers-to-enemies-to-lovers, contemporary romance is a standalone filled with angst, yearning, and finding peace. There is enough mystery, murder and drama here to satisfy any crime reader and the twists and turns were rather shocking and, as they should be, unexpected. Después de encontrar un hombre ahorcao en el lago, aparecen los cuepos de dos mujeres, de una profesora y una enfermera concretamente, vestidas de novia .

When she attends the scene of Cara Dunne’s ‘suicide’ something doesn’t sit right, and she has her suspicions that this is more likely a case of murder. They have agreed to marry but are keeping it quiet until she feels ready to tell her children and face her superior officer. So, you have a ML who doesn’t trust himself, thinks he’s a dog, and denies wanting to explore “more” with the FL bc he’s “too messed up”.Oh and there's the many times she just stands there shamelessly checking out the flex of his muscles while we suffer through more inner monologue. But their location isn't the only thing they have in common: they were also both dressed in wedding garb. we are looking for a home full of love, that is secure and understanding with the right atmosphere for our animals. Honeysuckle Weeks is charming and loyal, with some nice touches of subtle humour as ever, and Anthony Howell is wonderful. Book 6 was the first in the series that I felt wobbled a bit in balance and quality(although I still enjoyed it) but I’m glad to report she is back on form here.

And if I’m supposed to have read the first two books in the “stand alone” series to get a better handle of who she is through glimpses and peeks here and there? With two suspicious deaths and now a missing child to contend with, Lottie needs to make sense of it all, piecing together the puzzle and work out how each case is linked.
