Naturally, since the announcement, there have been people online trying to dump their collections. While I am a little sad that there will be no Commonwealth models, or various other bits and pieces, I am happy to have a “closed” system. As someone that collects and plays Kings of War, KOW Armada, Deadzone, Fallout Wasteland Warfare and The Elder Scrolls, it is handy to have a game that is “complete”. There is a completely different feeling to a game when the obligation to “keep up” with purchasing new releases or reading errata ends. What we have now, will always remain so. What is dead can never die

During this final stage, you can also choose whether or not your Survivor will be a leader, which allows you to add one special leader ability. With this being a core set, Mantic has already released numerous game and character expansions to take the experience further if you like this set. Based on the experience I have had with the set, the opportunity to add different characters and scenarios is one that is appealing. If you can help provide any HIGH QUALITY scans of missing cards, please get in touch with me. Here is a document detailing which cards are missing from the game currently: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1FvoIP5IL0AEZL-qIdFfvk_Df3-x9x2ZAccXS244bpqo/edit?usp=sharing

Now, Here’s Negan is normally about vying for the chance to be Negan’s favourite lieutenant – so there’s a competitive edge to this co-operative game. However, it can be played totally solo, with you taking on the role of all the lieutenants… which means you’re guaranteed to be Negan’s pet. DUNGEON SAGA AND STAR SAGAThere is no doubting that Negan made a brilliant baddie, and there were some terrific stories and themes with the Whisperers, the Kingdom and Hilltop. For me, the Walking Dead was at its best in Atlanta, Woodbury, Terminus and in the prison, and I can’t wait to play that out on the table. The core gameplay revolves around each player taking turns to activate their miniatures and perform various actions with them. The player who holds initiative starts and activates one model. This model can perform two actions from a small list of options (move, shoot, search, hide, etc) and then the other player does the same with a model. Players take it in turns like this until all of the survivor models have had their turn. Once all of the survivor models have had their go then the game turn moves into the ‘Event Phase’. Loads of extra characters are also available as booster sets, so you don’t have to keep playing with the same models from the starter box set. There is a points system through the rules which means that you can play with bigger groups of survivors and keep the teams balanced against each other as every character and weapon has a points value. The box also gives you some cardboard terrain, which is fantastic as the cost and amount of effort you need to start playing is on a par with a board game. Everything you need to get a taste of the game is included. This includes cardboard templates and, crucial to gameplay, cardboard terrain. This expansion builds upon the rules set out in Prelude to Woodbury and introduces rules for battling an opposing team of Survivors to your solo games. The opposing team can be set up exactly as if you were playing a PvP game of All Out War, using basic AI to determine how the opponent’s Survivors will behave. HERE’S NEGAN

This Walking Dead miniatures game represents larger scale conflicts than All Out War. The lone travellers struggling to survive in what’s left of the world have now formed communities, built walls, and gathered arms. However, the harsh conditions outside their walls have led these groups to fear the outside world. They see other groups as a threat to their very existence – no longer are the dead the only ones to fear… How to Play The Walking Dead Call To Arms? Today we’ve got a fascinating blog from guest contributor Daniel Meadows. Daniel is one of the members of The Walking Dead RC and is currently busy working on all the cool stuff we’ve got coming up for TWD. Anyway, in this blog he gives you a guide for creating custom scenarios in All Out War. Over to you Daniel… Q: What penalty’s will come into play if you sacrifice one of your gang for the greater good ( non voluntary, of course ).Q: What sort of range is there between points costs? How much is the cheapest type of gang member and how much is the more expensive, and what does the difference get you, just better stats, or more equipment slots/extra rules etc. This isn’t a ‘How To Play’ article…I could write another 3,000 words and still not fully cover that topic, but we will be releasing a tutorial video in the near future where we will explain the mechanics of the game. I will carry on with an assumption thatyou are familiar with tabeltop miniatures games and focus on the actual gameplay. Q: Will the cards in this game be one of the industry standard sizes so we can get card sleeves to fit?
