Saints Row is an action-adventure, open-world video game developed by Volition and published by Deep Silver, released in August of 2022. Set in the fictional city of Santo Ileso, the game puts players in control of a customizable character, as they establish a criminal empire, engage in combat, and complete missions. One thing Saints Row really ramps up is its suite of collectibles. Photographing various points of interest earns you money and XP, while you can also snap glowing statues or signs to hang in your HQ. Not that you will; I placed two identical windmills in front of my base and, after realizing each decoration area corresponded to a specific size limit, I couldn’t be bothered. It’s just not that type of game, especially because there’s nothing to make you spend real time at your HQ. The crimes of the Idols range from the sublime to the ridiculous. Anything from petty theft and acts of vandalism to kidnapping, assassination, and even bombings are fair game. As devoted anarchists, they do whatever the hell they want; as long as none of their fellow Idols get hurt, they consider it a blow against the system.

The Gold Edition gives you the full experience of the main game, combined with three future game expansions coming post release. The Expansion Pass delivers new missions and gameplay across three distinct expansions, each adding their own content to discover within the world of Santo Ileso. It also includes the Los Panteros American Muscle Bundle featuring Los Panteros 'El Lanzador' Heavy Weapon skin and Custom 'Fury' Motorcycle. The Idols are one of Saints Row's three main factions, none of which have any real personality. Volition / Plaion Saints Flow Ending the Saints Row hiatus and returning the historic open-world series to relevancy made a reboot of the entire franchise necessary. Older Saints Row games were amazing for their times but fell out of favor in a rapidly evolving industry when they ran out of room to expand. Players can look forward to plenty of explosive action and mayhem here. Many of the environmental details in Saints Row (2022) are happy to be destroyed, including fences, light posts and traffic lights, benches and sculptures, trees and foliage, and more. Oddly enough, this decent level of destruction doesn't extend to the highway dividers (but why?).

Your Boss character is joined by Neenah, Eli, and Kevin, your lifelong friends and constant companions throughout the story. A more noticeable – and ideally fixed issue – is a graphical issue when drifting a vehicle. There’s this weird ghosting coming off the vehicle’s panels. I don’t know if it’s an intended effect, but if it is it’s a poor one and should be removed or the issue resolved. Using Saints Row cheats is as easy as can be.
