He kept Magnolia in the dark about his life and recklessly put her in danger, which resulted in Magnolia getting injured and Bridget's death. You will fall in love with Daisy Haites a million times over and be desperate for more of her story when it ends. After finishing, I was left feeling like Christian and Daisy were afterthoughts or side characters, which makes no sense in a book carrying Daisy’s name. Daisy and Christian looking at each other while donating blood for her nearly dead brother in the back while her current useless boyfriend is looking at them! Even the cover points towards Julian, another disappointment, as the story-telling tattoos feel repetitive after learning how important BJ’s tattoos about Magnolia are in MP1 and MP2.

christian is just such an angel, and i fell completely head over heels for him in dh1 and this book only made me fall harder for him, which i didn’t think was possible. she has a new boyfriend now, his name is killian tiller, before he was just the cop at the door, but now he’s the man in her life. if you want to know how i feel right now, i feel kinda like that saying “fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me”.my love’s DaisyChris deserve a whole ESSAY for how adorable they were — or would’ve been if we had more content of them just being cute *gets a murderous glint in eyes* — ugh there were two iconic scenes in this book and I loved them! she has to move back in with her brother, whom she hasn’t spoken to in a long time, not only that but she also has to face the love of her life, whom she hasn’t spoken to either since she left him, or did he leave her ? This book was supposed to be about Christian and Daisy’s relationship, and the aspects of it we’re shown in the book I liked, but I felt their time together was overshadowed by Julian and Magnolia. And he is so used to taking care of Daisy that he kind of put Magnolia in that place of someone to take care of.

A character who spends half the book disapproving of and lying to his girlfriend is your favorite love interest? I love Julian and seeing another guy fell in love with a girl that we all know isn't going to love him was really fucking painful. She is the goddess in the Botticelli clam shell, her eyes are the waterlilies in Monet’s pond, she is the hand of God reaching down to mankind.I cannot stress enough how I wish he would just drop everything and change life somewhere else so that not one of his stupid “friends” could ever find him because they all make his life as miserable as possible. A clear theme in the series is how the female leads use men as coping mechanisms and jump between guys, which I know is because they’re being portrayed as real and flawed. I honestly came into this book expecting to rag on him like I do for the previous books, but I had very few complaints. I’d sidetrack my whole fucking year for five minutes alone with her, but by way of miracle I’m getting a lot of her five minutes these days — and I’m not going to fuck it up this time. everything always has to revolve around Magnolia and the Kylie Jenner of London (yes BJ, i'm talking about you).

But ultimately, this shouldn’t even be an issue in a book that was supposed to be about Christian and Daisy.this series has just as much drama as the netflix series “gossip girl” has, and if you’ve watched it you know that you can’t relax for more than two minutes max, in this case, you just can’t be happy for more than two minutes max. it’s simple because they both love each other more than they love anything else, but complicated because they are who they are. You are telling me that she genuinely thought everyone was lying about Julian being "the most dangerous man in London.
