I've listened & read many books on the subject of life after death and communicating with the other side and I must say this one is one of my favorites. His message and stories truly resonate within. More than ever, people are coming forward and sharing their experiences with after-death communication. Through television and film, the question of whether life exists beyond death has captivated our popular culture—not because it’s a new question, but because people are opening their minds to new answers. When I first got the call that my television show, Hollywood Medium with Tyler Henry, had been green-lighted, I promised to make it my purpose to explore whatever answers came my way and to share them honestly with the world. That’s the mission I’m still on, and my own questions multiply by the day. With all the different opinions about mediumship and psychic phenomena in circulation, I aim to provide unique, easy-to-understand explanations, obtained through my firsthand experiences.

If you are familiar with Tyler Henry's show, then you know what the majority of this book is about. It is always a little strange to read a memoir written by a 20 year old, as they have only a limited life experience. Tyler tells us about his early years and how he first discovered his psychic abilities. Throughout my life, I’ve come to understand the world in two ways. In one sense, I’m like any other twenty-year-old adjusting to adulthood, learning to live on my own (and use a dishwasher for the first time, admittedly). Yet in a very different sense, the part of me that most people see is Tyler Henry the medium—the Macaulay Culkin look-alike who gets in touch with celebrities’ dead loved ones on television. Though most people can’t relate to what it’s like to get visual, sensorial, and mental impressions from people who’ve passed away, everyone is capable of understanding the impact those messages have on the loved ones who need it most. Whether it’s a reference to pink fuzzy dice from your aunt Edna, or an inside joke shared with a beloved grandmother, these are the messages I strive to deliver—no matter how random they may seem to me, personally. The book is part autobiography mixed with his beliefs. For those who are unaware of who he is; Tyler is a self proclaimed medium with his own show. Speaking of his show- I am disappointed in it because I've only seen him give readings to celebrities. I guess it's about marketing. Perhaps "ordinary" people receiving readings wouldn't be lucrative for the show.Every day brings new experiences and new stories shared by souls that are able to understand what truly mattered in their lives. Their messages teach us what we should value in our own. Above all, I’ve learned that transitioning to the other side gives perspective. Ironically enough, it’s the dead who have the most to teach us about life. His memoir was a witty and relatable. Tyler genuinely wants to make a difference in people's lives that may be struggling after a friend or loved one has passed. It was really cool to hear about how each of his readings appears to be unique in nature. He is always discovering new signs and secrets. We can learn not to take things personally, to understand that behaviors are the results of conditioning, and to make conscious efforts to understand others instead of automatically reacting to them. As a result, our lives will change drastically for the better.” From Tyler Henry, clairvoyant and star of E!’s hit reality series Hollywood Medium with Tyler Henry, comes Between Two Worlds, a captivating memoir about his journey as a medium thus far.

He answered questions on multiple marriages and soulmates and other related topics – all very interesting.I am one of those people who has a completely open mind when it comes to the afterlife, and I do watch this author, Tyler Henry, as often as I can on his program. He not only comes across as a genuinely loving and caring person on the screen, that is exactly how he is in real life. These things matter because, despite his unassuming air, Henry is unafraid to make hard promises. A gay man is reassured that his homophobic mother has repented in the next life, while a woman whose son died by drowning is told that he doesn’t blame the companions who failed to rescue him. Even the woman whose brother was murdered, who introduces herself as actively trying to solve a criminal case, does not seem to give Henry pause. You must read his book with eyes wide open and judgement set aside. His book is very candid. I was not written with the intent of convincing you but rather to better know him and help you understand. I am what can be described as an Empath, Indigo Adult, and clairvoyant. This isn’t the medium for me (no pun intended) to dive into what this entails (Google the terms, if interested); but I will say that it is both an exhausting but amazing way to live being that it causes one to view life on another level of existence. In my opinion, everyone has these skills to some degree but some tap into it more so than others. Tyler Henry, a young man in his early 20s, is more than a self-described Macaulay Culkin look alike with a hit E!- Entertainment television reality show… he is the real deal: a true, intuitive clairvoyant. Henry provides insight into his skills and profession with, “Between Two Worlds: Lessons from the Other Side”.

Expanding on this depth, “Between Two Worlds” is a truly moving reading experience. Even aside from my own Empath and clairvoyant lifestyle; Henry’s writing has an impact and is thought-provoking for both young and adult readers, truly reaching audiences on a very personal level. This is a type of book one “has” to read for emotional fulfillment. Next, Henry brings up a coin collection. "I have a couple of silver dollars from him, but not a lot," Lauer offers. Henry then conveniently changes the collection to three coins and says one coin might be missing. "How many do you have?" he asks Lauer. "I think I have two," Lauer replies. Let's keep in mind this veteran news anchor knows they need to put on a good segment. I’ve watched a few Tyler Henry shows. This was interesting and insightful. When it comes to mediums and near-death experiences, I tend to lean towards caution and skepticism. Yet regardless of what one’s beliefs are, his overall message is a wonderful one. I especially love his humility, kindness, and courtesy. Everyone has different beliefs, and whether or not the concept of a medium has any place in those beliefs, is something that is very individual. I personally believe that God gifts each person with natural talents, some of which are very prevalent. As Tyler’s grandmother was terminally ill with cancer in April of 2006, he began having strong intuitive hunches that would later turn into a series of profound visions that proved to be true. After a series of life changing events (including a near death experience), Tyler’s passion, calling, and life purpose has been to bring clarity, closure, and evidence to those he is privileged to read.If there’s one overall theme I could take away, it’s to appreciate life in every moment and respond to challenges in a way that’s true to who you are, even if it’s the more difficult path. With the past stirring regrets, and the future provoking anxieties, it’s important that we live in the present moment. It is, after all, all there ever really is. He reaffirmed my belief that when moments of synchronicity occur, it is a message from God/your higher power/guides that you are on the right path. This young man wrote an extremely interesting book highlighting his early life when his powers began to manifest themselves, through a nearly fatal brain issue of his own while a teenager, and on through the present day where he is one of the most sought after, if not THE most sought after, genuine mediums. For me, one of the most appealing perks of the afterlife is the heightened sense of thanks. Souls describe this feeling again and again, and I assume that this new gratitude comes along with their expanded perception. Souls say they appreciate the meanings and correlations between events and people that they didn’t perceive during their physical lifetimes. Even the most jaded of people in life express immense gratitude from the other side. With ego stripped out of the way, it’s much easier for souls to understand the role that challenges had in their learning process, without getting caught up in the negative emotions we experience in this realm. If the living were able to appreciate our lives as much as those on the other side, we’d be dramatically happier. We’d live every day as though it was our first and last. In fact, people on the other side often encourage us to focus on living in the present moment. It allows us to feel gratitude more fully, without hang-ups over the past, or fear about the future, clouding our minds. Reminding yourself of what you do have takes up headspace that might otherwise be focusing on what you don’t have. We can never have too much gratitude—it’s grounding, and it gives us clarity over what really matters in the present (and every) moment.”

He gives a very refreshing view on the afterlife and many components that we all wonder about... a few of my favorites being reincarnation and your pets being able to communicate with you from the other side. I understand that my ability is a gift and not something for which I can take any credit. I’m just a conduit for information to come through and reach those who are open to hearing it—something we all have a natural ability to do, to varying degrees. Practice breeds consistency, and the more we develop and trust in our gut feelings, the more significantly and accurately our intuition can help us. Even after doing countless readings, I still have to remind myself daily to “get out of my own way” and allow myself to be a clear vessel through which messages can flow.Whether in Hanford or Hollywood, my intention will always be the same: to show as many people as I can that love lasts forever. The bonds we forge in this world never break.” Tyler Henry (born January 13, 1996) is a teen clairvoyant medium originally from central California. Born with a unique gift, Tyler has helped countless people acquire closure, comfort, and proof that consciousness transcends physical death. Working as an evidential-based medium, his ability to provide specific, detail-oriented specifics has allowed him to share what he sees with medical professionals and missing person cases.
