The dwarf slayers of this series are characters so charmingly insane that you can't help but love their suicidal humour, and Gotrek is foremost among slayers. I thought maybe it was written around the same time the Lizardmen army was revealed in 5th edition, but there's 6 years separating them. I thought vampire slayer was a little weaker than the others (can’t quite put my finger on why) but this one is amazing much thanks to loremaster of sotek for letting me know this series exists.

Some of the best installments of the series focus on the villains really well this was missing that and Teclis was a little boring as a character inmo. The DC is perfectly fine for an item that works on more than just high strength giants and lacks attunement.

The dialogue between Gotrek and the elf is very enjoyable at time, but I overall felt this was the most lacking plot wise to date.All parties arrive at the temple-city, where the orcs do battle with Kelmain and Lhoigor's Chaos warriors and beastmen. Worse, the Chaos sorcerers Kelmain Blackstaff and Lhoigor Goldenrod, last seen orchestrating the siege of Praag have discovered the tunnels and are using them to transport warbands of beastmen and Chaos warriors from the tunnels' nexus point on the isle of Albion to locations across the Old World.
