Hammer and Anvil (Shield in this case) essentially. I look to break my enemy between two superior fighting forces, but the tactic when enacted by the Unmade comes with a bit of a catch. Your fighters are glass cannons, and not protecting against the enemy using the same strategy will result in an early loss. I have included two Awakened Ones in the Shield with the Blissful One to serve as screens for it for this reason. The Hammer has a high concentration of threat units to split the enemy focus off the Shield, breaking their target priority and forcing them to fight us in an even footing, one they will surely lose on. The Venomblood with Spear and Shield, instead of the whip, carries a spear that has one inch less in range, but a better damage profile of 2/4 damage. If two of the dice show the same value, they can be used to activate a Double ability. If three show the same value, they can be used for a Triple ability, and so on.

The Ossiarch Bonereapers: Another relatively new army, and these bone-collecting expeditionary undead legions are a big part of Age of Sigmar lore right now. Their combined arms playstyle can make them expensive to collect, but they’re a balanced force that just looks amazing, and nothing like any other warband, on the battlefield.

If you want to build the Unmade warband, be warned that they can be quite fiddly to assemble and are very fragile. Meat is Cheap –Fantastic chaff. With the addition of a second box you will have more diversity than you know what to do with. The Gaunt Summoners have identical profile to the Magisters but they have access to Warptongue Blade, an ability that can do some damage on an engaged enemy. The one on Disc of Tzeentch can fly. Bloody Tribute (Triple, Nephrite Priestess): After the Priestess takes down an enemy, an Obelisk Bearer in range can perform a bonus move.

Toll the Sonorous Tocsin (Double, Putrid Blightking with Sonorous Tocsin): Add 1 to the Move characteristic of friendly fighters that start the action within 7”.The Unmade isn’t a good option for every kind of scenario in the game, but if you like this playstyle, the Unmade are a lot of fun to play, and their playstyle really matches their horror aesthetic. Pros and Cons of the Unmade This made for a nice challenge as I had to figure out how to make everything look like skin but still stand out from each other, while also emphasizing the uncomfortable horror aspect of the warband.
