The SpinFit CP100+ (or CP100 Plus) are the exact same as the CP100 in terms of size, but they are made with a different material. They keep the same diameter of 4 mm and the same variety of sizes (SS, S, M, L, XL), but they are made of medical-grade silicone and feature more subdued colours and a more transparent dome. Exceptional clarity with good treble extension. Soundstage is one of the biggest I have heard. Vocal presentation is forward. Can get sibilant when matched with bright earphones. SpinFit tips offers a crisper and well-defined higher frequency range with plenty of detailing and articulacy. Compared to MandarinE’s Symbio W hybrid tips, the SpinFit offers extended highs without the harshness and sizzle that the former tips can bring forth. This can also be seen when the SpinFit tips are compared to the Shure Olives tips – there is a good level of restraint without hiding any micro-details or imagery.

How and why SpinFit eartips work

In this review, I will be discussing the Simgot EM6L, comparing it with the Xenns Mangird Top and QKZ HBB Khan. I have tested the EM6L using the Moondrop Moonriver 2 Ti and Fiio Q3 Dac Amp. Here are the wired earphones I have in my collection and tried them with the CP100. Sony XBA-4 with SpinFit CP100

The CP145 seem to tame bass a tiny bit to give a small boost to the upper midrange and to treble; mind you, we’re talking about a difference that’s not major and is in fact relatively minute. In other words, you won’t be able to make a warm IEM a neutral one, but you will notice a smaller difference compared to other tips. Overall my sensation is that the CP145 deliver a wider soundstage, probably thanks to the larger presence in the upper area, and more accurate imaging compared to the CP100. They still deliver a generally neutral signature. With the CP100, the Aurvana Trio’s mid-treble sounds a little harsher, while the midrange is slightly less articulated. I attribute it to a more filling bass and harmonics which somehow influenced the texture of the instruments, making them less clean. The trebles on the EM6L are really well extended. They are very airy and detailed. However, the detailed trebles come with their cons too. As such, the EM6L is a bit sibilant. It also doesn't compare to the Xenns Top, which has very well extended, extremely detailed, and quality trebles but presents them in a controlled and smooth manner. Hence, it is not fatiguing or overwhelming during long sessions. The Top also has better technicality and separations than the EM6L or the Khan by a huge margin (understandably as they belong in different price ratios). So the trebles sound better on the Xenns Top. The EM6L sometimes sounds fatiguing and piercing with treble-heavy songs. The CP100 puts a litte more bass into the Sony XBA-4. And since the XBA-4 is already strong in the tweeter, this ear tip offers better musical balance. SpinFit CP100 with Sony XBA-4 Sennheiser IE 300 with SpinFit CP100 Where foam tips are concerned, however, the True Fidelity tips provided with 64 Audio models as well as the Marshmallow tips by Campfire Audio were found to be most comfortable.
