Iain Thomas binds a beautiful book of self-love, anger, purpose and silences that we can’t shake. I’ve read his previous books and there’s a running theme between them, a similarity that would otherwise be overdone but it works for his poems. This collection was exactly what the title promised: every word you can not say. Everything you’ve wanted to say but couldn’t. Every emotion you’ve felt and it couldn’t explain. Every hurt you experienced and couldn’t talk about. Iain S. Thomas adalah penyair dan penulis asal Afrika Selatan. Pada awalnya ia populer melalui blognya, “I Wrote This For You,” yang kemudian dibukukan. Kecantikan tutur bahasanya bahkan membuat para pesohor ikut mengutip, seperti Kourtney Kardashian, Steven Spielberg, dan Ariana Huffington. Iain S. Thomas shared that he was suffering depression when he wrote this book. This book is so much more because these were the words he wanted to hear (and maybe heard) when he was in that point of his life. He didn't just write it for him. He wrote it to everyone who needed to hear these words.

Through the project, he was also able to have skateboards delivered to The Uganda Skateboard Union on behalf of Stacy Peralta, director of Dogtown And Z-Boys and Riding Giants and he’s previously acted as a creative consultant to Brian Wayne Transeau or “BT” (whose previous collaborators include Peter Gabriel, Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake and David Bowie, amongst others) on his last album, If The Stars Are Eternal, So Are You And I. This book is giving you hope in the darkest of times and turning on even the tiniest light. And when I couldn't read farther I was so sad because I felt like something was stolen from me Buku ini bisa jadi teman, bahkan menjadi mulut dan lidah anda agar anda tak merasa sendiri dan bisu. I know you hurt and that you love and that, sometimes, love is the reason you hurt.” It’s like everything inside me, everything I have ever wanted to say when my father told me I wouldn’t succeed because I was depressed, when my mother told me to leave her house, when I was the talk of the household and I couldn’t find my voice, when I was bleeding and nobody said anything. The project, which has proven incredibly popular across the world and gone on to become a best selling book, has also afforded him numerous exciting opportunities, including an invitation to dinner with the US Ambassador to South Africa, Donald Gipps as a consultant on digital development within South Africa, and a speaking spot at TEDx Johannesburg.

Why do we hurt ourselves more, when other people hurt us? Why do we beat ourselves up, for feeling beat up? I know this is listed as poetry, and free verse is a thing, but there was a very poetic prose element to this collection that I think bears at least remarking on. This is the first collection I've read by this poet, so I'm not sure if this is a standard to his style. Iain Thomas has a real skill here, an honest craftsmanship that I wish I could come close to. Some days, I try to (see: the centos I submitted to university groups, just so I could spill out a fraction of what I feel for this writing when it was my turn to talk).Iain S. Thomas is the #1 bestselling author of I Wrote This For You and Intentional Dissonance. He wrote his first book, Ignite, at the age of 23 for the Markham clothing store. It won the Grand Prix at the First Paper House Art Of Design Awards and the only craft prize awarded that year, in the design category, at the national design/advertising awards (The Loeries). He gave me the emotions, the hopes and fears and disappointments that we all share by simply being human. I got goosebumps while reading and that doesn't happen very often. Thomas still has that magic with words, making you feel that you are human and you have emotions. This book was more than the sum of its parts, and I was here for all of it.

This book felt so new, and so fresh and different, somehow, from the other ones, despite still creating a warm and homely feeling in me as I read it, exactly like all the others had. I loved that, that kind of feeling from these books and these poems in particular, I always believe that that is irreplaceable – after all, I haven’t experienced it anywhere else or with any other author. I loved that there was playing with form, structure, even colour of the text. The drawings peppered throughout were lovely, and always in the right places. Isinya rangkaian kata-kata yang mewakili perasaan kebanyakan orang tentang cinta, optimisme, harapan, dan konfigurasi batin lainnya. Formatnya mirip puisi, tetapi menurut saya bukan. This poetry collection was everything I didn't know I needed. Typically, I don't read a lot of male poets, not because they are not brilliant, I just don't relate strongly to a lot of the thematic and personal elements that, in my opinion, make poetry so enjoyable. But, I saw this particular book on Netgalley and was in the mood for something poetic. In 2009, for his work as the author of the art/photogr "Iain S.
