Description

The Milk Sunshine Skin Tint is a one-of-a-kind foundation – you can tell that from just looking at the packaging. I really love to just focus on skincare and wear minimal makeup most days, and the combination of tint and SPF with this is a real winner for me. I am not sure how the formula works on oily skin because I feel like it might be a little too thick and hydrating.

The Milk Makeup Sunshine Skin Tint SPF 30 is a great example of that because it's a clean, silicone-free skin tint with the benefit of SPF 30 . I’ve gotten a lot of questions asking how the Milk Sunshine Skin Tint compares to the KOSAS Tinted Face Oil. It has a rollerball type of dispenser, which according to the brand, is airtight and prevents oxidization. Infused with moisturising powerhouse ingredients such as jojoba, avocado and grapeseed oils to hydrate your skin, the hardworking tinted formula also protects from UV damage (we've got the coral reef-safe broad-spectrum SPF 30, to thank for that). As previous reviewers have said the roller ball clogged and so I had a refill that I had to scoop out with ear buds. However, I still wanted to do a wear test because I still have stuff to do and meetings to talk through.

Grapeseed, Avocado, Mandarin, Jojoba, and Olive Oils, which help moisturize the skin for a dewy, glowing finish.

truly recommend this product for people that may want to even out their skin tone without the heaviness and full pigmentation of a foundation. It's the perfect product for the summer and if you don't powder it down, you can use it as your tinted SPF and reapply as you should with SPF through the day.

Consistency-wise, the Kosas feels like a dry oil and sinks into the skin quickly while leaving the veil of pigment behind with a satin finish. Recently I’ve picked up the Kosas Tinted Face Oil (ed note: it was recently when I started writing this blogpost in November, whoops), and I wanted to see how it compared to two of my favorite skin tints: the Milk Makeup Sunshine Skin Tint and the Glossier Perfecting Skin Tint. In theory, amazing – think festival type beauty with rainbow metallic warrior stripes and can be used on eyes and lips (a couple of colours can’t be used on lips) or multi-functional low (recyclable) packaging, but in practice, maybe not so much. I don’t have any complaints about the packaging (because luckily it does work for me) but it seems like quite a round about way of applying the product. I’ve used both a beauty sponge and a foundation brush to apply and they give a similar coverage, but the beauty sponge blends thing in much nicer. As the warmer weather has coincided with post-lockdown freedom being on the horizon, we’re taking a closer look at our make-up bag to see if it needs updating after a year spent mostly barefaced. As someone who is very fair and has naturally quite pinkish skin, I much prefer warmer undertones to help balance out my complexion. ALWAYS apply a separate sunscreen (SPF in moisturiser again isn’t enough) to get your sun protection. Back in early January a mutual friend introduced me to a member of their team who wanted to send me a few things to test.

Roll and blend your way to radiant happy skin Its anti-microbial packaging contains silver which allows for a preservative-free foundation.

The shade match is not the best, the shade range lacks different undertones and the shade Light kind of leans a little orange on me. This honestly looks like your skin but better, it's absolutely flawless and natural even after a few hours.
