The pump is very quiet for general use, but when you turn on the bubbles, things get loud, both on the surface of the water and from the pump right next to you. Asking Alexa to turn the bubbles off is a pretty futile exercise… Unplug the inflatable hot tub and remove the power cord, safely storing it away. Step 2. Remove the filter

Remember, keep it off the floor and protected from any nibbling mice etc, in its original box is ideal if you still have it. People Also Ask (FAQs)It's equipped with a 'Freeze Shield' feature too, which basically means the pump will keep water moving on days when the temperature gets too low but you're not using it, so the water won't freeze and damage anything. There's a final pipe on the outside of the tub for releasing the water. Smartly, a hose connector is provided that fits on this, meaning you can just use your standard hose to direct water down a drain, or to use for washing the car any other way you might recycle it when you're done.

The Lay Z Spa Milan can be used year-round thanks to its freeze shield and rapid heating, though the same heating system can be found on cheaper models, so pulling the trigger really comes down to how useful you’ll find the app-based control system. The main issue with using a hot tub during the winter months is that they are not designed to be used or stored in less than 4 degrees centigrade (40f). Here in the UK, temperatures drop far below that during winter and spring, making it unlikely that you are able to enjoy your hot tub. Do you have more questions about how to winterise an inflatable spa or how to store it properly during the colder winter months? Below I will answer the questions that I get asked the most to help you further. Can I leave my lazy spa out in winter? The app is handy for this – not only does it have simple on/off switches for features such as heating, bubbles or a simple constant filter pump, but there's also a scheduling feature, so you can set the desired temperature, set a time for the heating to start, and how long it should be on for.

There is one major point we want to raise about the Milan, and Lay-Z-Spa's sizing in general, though – the number of people you can fit in there.

The actual bubble massage is really pleasant, though it's not quite the 'massage' it promises to be from the literature. We do wish you could choose the intensity of the bubbles, though, so that they could be easier to talk over. Inflatable hot tubs should be stored folded as per the manual instructions, not on its side. By storing it on its side you risk permanent damage to the structure. Conclusion Disconnect the pump and place the stop cap on the pipe. Place the pump to one side ready for cleaning. ( It may not look dirty but there will be residue from the chemicals used in the water on it) Step 4. Drain the Water With the industry-leading Balboa TP500s & BP200 control system, the Milan 1 Lounger ensures perfect operation and user-friendly experience. Fully insulated, this hot tub keeps running costs low without compromising on performance. Boasting 36 total jets in various configurations, the Milan 1 Lounger offers a soothing and invigorating massage experience, highlighted by the shoulder massage feature in the captain’s chair. Sinking into the Milan's water was exactly what you'd expect – lovely and warming. We were worried that the floor being relatively thin padding would mean it wouldn't be very pleasant to sit on, but it's perfectly comfortable, actually – the fact that your weight is affected by the water presumably helps a lot.Experience seamless operation and ease of use with the industry-leading Balboa TP500s & BP200 control system. The Milan 1 Lounger is fully insulated, keeping running costs low without sacrificing performance. With an impressive 47 jets in various configurations, this hot tub delivers a soothing and revitalising massage experience, complete with a shoulder massage feature in the captain’s chair.

If you’ve got the money and will get the use out of it, it’s one of the most user-friendly options out there. But, it might be a little expensive for first-time buyers or those that aren’t too sure that they’ll be using this tub regularly. At this stage, the tub is still perfectly carryable, but large enough to require two people (dragging it along the ground is, clearly, not advisable), so get it into position.Once drained, take out any fixtures and fittings still attached and place them to one side for cleaning. (clean with soapy water and then dry completely with a soft cloth). Step 5. Thoroughly Clean and Rinse Once completely dry you will be able to start folding up the lazy spa. ( Keep a clean dry cloth handy to wipe away any moisture that may have been missed). If you’ve kept your Lay-Z-Spa clean throughout the season, you should easily be able to wipe away any residue using warm water and a soft cloth or sponge. (If there are stubborn dirt marks, squirt a little hand soap on the spot. A very mild dishwashing liquid might also work). Step 6. Completely Dry the Hot Tub Connect a garden hose (with the adaptor supplied) to the drainage/inflation valve. Making sure the hose is long enough to reach a drain. ( Never drain the spa water into your lawn or flower beds because it contains chemicals that will kill them). Step 4. Remove All Fixtures and Fittings One thing that surprised us is that the bottom of the tub didn't inflate, but this is normal – and is fine, as we'll come to.
