Having had the turntable for a couple of days and played a variety of 12" LPs and 7" singles (some from the 60s and a bit scuffed) I'm really pleased with it.The Max LP connects to your computer via a built-in USB connection and comes complete with EZ Vinyl/Tape Converter software so you can easily convert your vinyl collection to digital music files. This turntable may have built-in speakers, but it also has RCA outputs if you want hook up speakers of your own. It's a solid piece of kit - with the exception of the stylus arm and arm raiser lever which I think will need a gentle touch.

When the volume is very low or very high, the sound is not so good but I find this easily forgivable and to be expected for what it is. It's easy to hook up, easy to understand the instructions, and easy to save the results in a music file.
