Description

Thrown through a hoop over her feelings for him, and desperate to keep a low-profile, Shannon finds herself once again the target of bullies as she forms a fragile alliance with rugby’s rising star.

The meet cute: one of the best!! Those two were destined to be together from the very start. It set the dynamic between them. Aoife the unapologetic sassy brave girl who doesn’t hesitate about voicing her wants and Joey who as much as he try to resist will always have a weak spot for her and will follow her anywhere.

Following a devastating injury that has left him sidelined and stripped of his beloved number 13 jersey, Johnny is struggling to hold onto his dreams. Lost, insecure, and desperately seeking comfort, he sets his sights on unraveling the mystery of the girl with the midnight-blue eyes. With his best friend, Gibsie, by his side, Johnny embarks on his quest of exposing the secrets surrounding the girl who haunts his every waking hour. WARNING: This review contains a lot of screaming, crying, fangirling and mental breakdowns. Be prepared for a rollercoaster of emotions.

For some unknown, cruel reason, I had been the target of every child's frustrations from the tender age of four. Shaking my head to clear my thunderous thoughts before they darkened to the point of no return, I stared at my reflection in the mirror and forced myself to practice something I rarely did these days: smile. The meaner ones labelled me a tranny, suggesting that the reason I was such a frigit was because I had boy parts under my skirt.

Yes, fine! Whatever. Christ,” I grumbled, rolling my eyes. “You’re my favorite friend, with my favorite legs.” Almost a year had passed since then and, aside from one irregular cycle in the summer that had lasted less than half a day, I was yet to have a proper period. joey lynch.. the lost boy. it breaks my heart to read ur words. all i wanna do is give u the biggest hug and tell u it’s gonna be okay. After that, I was labelled a frigit because I wouldn’t get off with the very boys that had made my life a living hell for years. god i’m begging you be merciful for once and give this boy some happiness and one moment of peace. c'mon that's really not that much to ask for. 😭😭😭

Want more of Johnny, Shannon and the rest of The Boys of Tommen? Read the rest of the series so far: Not even the shy new girl at Tommen College. The one with the sad eyes and hidden bruises. The one that distracts him like no one ever has. My eyes landed on Aoife then and her golden hair as it blew around her face in the light summer breeze. She wasn't looking at me. Her entire focus was on my brother as she watched him like he was a precious jewel that could vanish at any moment.Releasing a pained breath, he leaned in close and pressed a kiss to my forehead. “I could go a fair bit crazy over you, Molloy.” His lips brushed against my brow as he said, “Stay out of my head now, ya hear?”

Because the female character Shannon is the definition of damsel in distress. Or a small mouse perfect meal for all mean cats *and there are plenty in the story* around her. If you're looking for a beautifully written, heart wrenching, hilarious book . . . and want one hell of a book hangover, then do yourself a favour and read these pronto' I WANT THE KAVANGHS TO ADOPT ME, PLEASE. I say that every couple of days and in real life it's not possible to get adopted that often, but you know we're talking about fictional families here so I don't see the problem. I'm going to cry if they say no. WARNING 2: Each book in this series is long, like really long. That means a huge cast ensemble and lots of different relationships between them and I will say something to each characters & their relationship, because they are worth mentioning and the reason why this series is so great. Therefore this review is going to be a long one. (Decided to do a jointed review for Binding 13 and Keeping 13) One thing I don’t usually like is when the heroine chases the hero, but Aoife Molloy OWNS that trope now. She knows what she wants and is not afraid to ask for it, but once she gets rejected she knows her worth and doesn’t act desperate. Aoife is such a pusher and it’s hilarious, but she is never pushing Joey more than he is willing ... only far enough for him to admit that he might care more than he lets on.URG... Johnny and Shannon were so adorable together. Their interactions are so damn awkward that it's sweet to watch. It's funny how a guy like Johnny, who has all these girls at his feet, fumbling with words and acting all awkward, because it's the first time that he has a crush on a girl.
