In the end i gave it to him and i can safely say there is nothing wrong with the fragrance because in the air, on him, it smells just as good as i remember it the first time. Thats where the magic is with Joop Homme, in the air! Not smelled upclose. I admit it. I did not appreciate just how sensual "Joop! Homme" is. I flirted with the bergamot. I played footsie with the patchouli. I let the tonka bean caress my nut pouch. I even helped the vetiver spread apart the ol' keister flaps.

In my view, this scent tries to be more than it is and ultimately disappoints, capturing a form of outdated elegance better forgotten.This stuff makes me laugh. To this day I can't tell if I like it, or hate it. Wouldn't spray it within 100 yards of my home. But for some reason, I'm glad it exists. In my opinion, this perfume was ahead of its time and is still a splendid fragrance with a unique personality.

People will smell this and they will notice it. I wore this when I was younger and had a lot of people comment on it. A lot of people will recognise the smell too. Go light on the sprays of this one. Definitely seems to be a signature scent and somewhat nostalgic for many. Good price point and I just think it's beautiful. It reminds me of my bottle of Montblanc Individuel, but the Joop! juice is deeper, has more of a spicy underbelly and lasts longer. Plus, it’s great to have this in addition to my bottle of Joop! I hate when my partner wears this it makes my head hurt and I don't like the smell. it's sweet but it's not a nice kind of sweet imo, it does last long however but usually smells you don't like do tend to stay around for longer 🤠 I love this fragerance. It’s a sweet fragrance, that can absolutely be worn by women as well as men, I would even go as far as to say that it leans more feminine than masculine, at least on my skin, but my skin does tend to enhance sweet notes in fragrances. For ten years, I owned a home which shared a wall with my neighbour. During that decade, I would smell Joop! Homme and think, “Oh, Neville has come home. I need to see him about something”.Maybe I got a bad batch. This smells like cough syrup and musky body odor. I was supposed to give it to a friend's kid. I decided not to because it smells so bad that it might offend the family lol. I used to hate it because people over sprayed this and it was just annoying but since the reformulations it is lighter and I like it because it’s not annoying anymore.
