There is something about going back to a book you loved when you first read it and listening to it in audio. When he left, Jules was heartbroken but channeled that into becoming a BAB (Boss Ass Bitch) and dominating the legal field. Jules and Jason must work quickly trying to find out where and what happened to Jason’s sister while Jason is being framed for various crimes. I might like girly things, but I’m much more likely to spray you with bullets then sprinkle you with glitter. A criminal, a thug, and a brawler, he was the master of bad choices, until one such choice landed him in prison for five years.

I can't with the "speak english" in reference to 'tech talk' that was basic googling/info my grandma would have no problems figuring out.The only thing I didn't like about her was I felt she gave in too quickly, while still maybe holding on to her anger too long. That in itself isn’t a problem but it absolutely doesnt make the reader feel like he’s a caring and concerned/despairing brother who is trying to find his trafficked sister. There are twists that I didn't expect and a redemption ARC I wasn't sure I wanted but it was amazing. In this journal, you'll find the story of a broken girl who did not like who she had become, and had no idea how to change.

The romance was definitely cute, but I feel like I was more interested in the mystery, and potentially other romances then the romance featured in this book.It's more of a story about racing against the clock to find the MC's sister with a little bit of romance mixed in. Also, I'll be reflecting on couple tag-lines for awhile after this book, on ways to affirm communication.
