The most important factor for being able to hang with the best is rotomolded construction. This seamless, one-piece construction is essential for a cooler that aims to be tough and hold ice for long periods. And sure enough, all Ozark Trail hard-sided coolers are rotomolded! Absolutely! This color can look like a soft white outside, where the bright sun makes colors 5-10 lighter and brighter in the sunshine. Typical interior whites like SW Pure White can look stark when used outside as a trim color. Ozark Trail is pretty quiet about ice life on all but their hard-sided coolers. For those, they exclaim that, in optimal conditions, you can achieve around 4.5 days with the 26-quart, 7 days with the 52-quart, and 9 days with the 73-quart. These are very impressive numbers, but how accurate are they?

If you are on a tight budget, Ozark Trail makes an acceptable substitute. You can almost think of them as 80% of a Yeti for 25% of the price! Many of the features that you see in Yetis are present here and the ice life, while not industry-leading, isn’t terrible. But still: it isn’t a Yeti! Lavender and gray are two colors that look great together, and Lavender Gray is a lovely, gentle mixture of the two. Its complementary color is the soft, pearl-like Pastel Gray. These two colors look especially nice together, and Lavender Gray also works well alongside ivory and other shades of off-white.To test this, we filled the products up with approximately 1/3 ice. We then left them out in the heat and occasionally opened them. This gives a better representation of real-life use. We display the results in the chart below: While these aren’t “budget” coolers, compared to their competition, Ozark Trail ice chests are a bargain. Many of their peers can cost 3, 4, and 5 times as much. And many of them utilize essentially the same construction techniques, features, and ice life. Depending on which model you go with, you should see between 2 days and 5 days of ice life. That is still plenty impressive and should meet most people’s needs. But it does fall a bit short of the top-tier premium coolers in the industry. Ozark Trail’s soft-sided coolers have gone through quite a bit of variation over the past couple of years. Many of their models have undergone facelifts and new sizes of soft-sided coolers have also been introduced to the market. Because of this, there have been notable areas for concern. Specifically, this can include things such as the lid being warped and leaking, hardware coming loose prematurely, and the handles coming undone

Though it’s much more blue than most silver-hued coins, Coin is a pretty gray shade that is a little like Lavender Gray and a little like Blue Gray. It’s certainly different, and it can make a dramatic statement as a wall color. Alternatively, it’s a useful and harmonious accent color for rooms with pale, demure color schemes.Smoke color is a shade of gray with a bit of green in it. It slightly leans closer to the darker end of the spectrum. Agreeable Gray is a glorious warm greige paint color with green undertones. It looks great in rooms with lots of natural or artificial light. If you have a room with low light, the hidden violet undertones will look fleshy, and Agreeable Gray will make the room look like a prison. We’ve already mentioned the fact that you can’t really see a metallic sheen on digital colors. But Metallic Gray is roughly the color of most shiny, silvery gray colors. This color is light, cool, and refreshing. It looks great surrounded by modern-looking blues and other cool colors. Though more blue than natural flint, Flint is nonetheless an intriguing color. Against yellow, it creates a high-energy contrast. But because it sits between blue and gray shades, Flint also works beautifully in gradient palettes going from gray to blue. So it is obvious that Ozark Trail has components related to ice life and toughness covered, but what about features that make using their products easier?

Basements and bathrooms without windows are fabulous places for Agreeable Gray (sample here). Make sure that you use warmer bulbs. The color looks lovely and inviting and is a fan favorite. Photo by M. Marceny, Basement with Agreeable Gray Steel Gray is probably one of the most commonly-used names used to describe various gray shades. But this particular version gets very close to the actual color of steel. Though it isn’t especially dark, Steel Gray does have a relatively large amount of blue that gives it a somewhat soothing bluish cast. Ultimate Gray is another member of the Pantone Textile Cotton eXtended list. And along with Illuminating yellow, it’s the Pantone Color of the Year 2021. Like Storm Gray, it is an especially suitable color for sheets, towels, and other household goods. It’s a great choice if you want a standard gray color that’s a bit darker than average. So it is no surprise that Ozark Trail Coolers have achieved an IGBC (Interagency Grizzly Bear Committee) seal of approval. In other words, they are tough enough to handle a mauling by a grizzly bear! While this isn’t quite as high as we have seen in other premium coolers, the much lower asking price helps to justify it. For most people, being able to keep ice for 3 days or more is plenty. And it makes Ozark Trail Coolers great for any weekend outing. Mobility and Durability –Shiny, luxuriant mink is one of the most popular types of fur in the world. It comes in many colors, but this lovely gray shade is a common color of gray mink. It is warm and slightly dusty in nature, and it looks especially nice with both copper and pale pink. Anvil Gray is both one of the darkest and one of the most balanced gray shades on the list. It has a much higher K value than most of the gray shades listed here. Additionally, if you look at the RGB values, you can see that all values are equal – 33% blue, 33% red, and 33% green.
