I usually love Macomber-her stories just help me to escape to another place where everything works out all right. I just couldn't warm to the main character in this one-Willa. She's had a lot of tragedy in her life which I sympathized with but the insta-love that hero Sean has for her is never really cemented for me. The central storyline was hard to read but that's okay. I'm just not sure if I could understand either of the reactions to it-the hero's or the heroine's. I don't want to say more for fear of spoiling the story. Others have loved it so it must just be me.
