Also, not with Narciso l'eau, but that has to do with my chemistry that isn't a fan of the leading note (lily of the valley), and not how this perfume is made).To open, strong and sensual sprinkles of pink pepper cut through the elegant floral core of rose and peony. For me this smells clean, feminine and understatedly sexy - good for any occasion, and very appropriate is a signature. I can understand why many would not enjoy this but to me it is very pleasent and to my nose, comes across very clean. On my skin, although I realize it isn't in the notes at all, it's straight cedar from start to finish. This is so sophisticated and elegant with a freshness of real flowers and the most beautiful musk I’ve ever encountered. Maybe it has to do with the cold weather we're experiencing now, but there's a sourness that really bugs me in here. It's been said so many times before, but Narciso Rodriguez offers up such amazing takes on musk - any musk-lover fraghead MUST try them. Sometimes, depending on weather conditions as well as your own mood, this perfume may come across as a bit too sweet and peppery, and hence, cloying though.
