This would have been enough but when you learn that this mower has been designed to get right up to the edges and delivers perfectly on precision, you really begin to appreciate the performance of this machine. In fact, there was not a single aspect of either set up or use that I would class as being difficult or even particularly challenging. Both the 340R and the 380R have central height adjustment levers with 5 height settings. But, the 300R has 3 settings, and you need to add or remove spacers to the blade each time you want to change the cutting height (for me this is a limitation and therefore I would opt for one of the larger models). The clever vertical storage position means it takes up less floor space keeping your shed neat and tidy, or you can simply fold the handles down flat to store away neatly

As expected, the fact that the EasiStore 340R takes so little space when stored seems to impress customers the most. They love how the mower fits nicely in their smaller sheds.

Alternatives Options

The EasiStore 340R Li has a 35-litre grass collection box, which is the perfect size for this type of mower and for smaller gardens means that you won’t be stopping to empty before the mowing session is over. For people who have not tried an electric lawn mower before and are perhaps moving over from petrol, they’re going to notice some serious differences. While it won’t have the same power as your old petrol model, it’s got enough features to impress and makes the switch much easier. When you see how efficiently it cuts and how easy it is to use, you’ll be glad you made the change. Conclusion There is a safety ‘key’ that needs to be inserted next to the batteries and turned to the ‘on’ position before the mower will work. It’s a useful feature to disable the mower and Flymo provide two that are bright orange. However, it is an easy thing to miss when you first use the mower, so if you put two batteries in and nothing happens, this may well be the reason. The Flymo EasiMow 340R is a nifty, lightweight little lawn mower that has seriously impressed me. It’s not a mower that’s got the most features and cutting functions in the world, but it’s got more than enough to deliver a fantastic cut. For example, a rear roller and cut to edge which adds that little extra something to make your lawn stand out from the rest.

The easy carry handle means that even if it is a generous walk to your lawn front from the storage space, carrying the mower will not be a strain. Plus, the super lightweight design of the mower adds to this – it weighs just 13kg. I couldn’t find any accessories that are on sale to go with the Flymo Easistore 340R Li. The main thing that a potential user might consider to go with this model is an extra set of batteries, if they have a larger lawn. The EasiStore sets a good example as a model for all-electric mowers on the market. You rarely see an electric mower of this size and price with such a feature as a roller, but one possible reason is the absence of mulching. Mulching Some safety features, which prevent accidental starting by an operator or a child, need interaction, to deactivate them. But the EasiStore also has many passive features that make operating this mower that much safer for all.

There is a safety button on the handlebar, which the operator needs to depress to release the throttle grips. The 300R has a series of spacers that the operator must insert or remove from between the blade and the motor, to change the cutting height. And this also limits the 300R’s height choices to 3, with 20mm between each. Again giving you a choice of the same lowest and highest cutting heights from 20mm to 60mm. Cutting Diameter If you don’t want to mess around when cutting your lawn, then I would absolutely recommend giving the Flymo EasiMow 340R a try. Its convenience at its best, but doesn’t scrimp on features that allow you to create a neat and professional looking finish to your lawn.
