Triple magnet screening and 24K gold plugs makes our Performance USB A-Mini B the best in its class.

The XT25’s organisation is perhaps not as outstanding as with the C-Screen, but the latter benefits from a more insular, closer soundstage. It’s a case of differing abilities more so than one being objectively better than the other.

One of the biggest problems facing speaker cables is keeping the inductance low as cable conductor size increases. This is vital to reduce cable losses and prevent inaccuracies in the signal transfer process, i.e. distortion. The normal way to do this is to use a number of individually insulated conductors within the cable construction. This method is utilised to great effect in the design of the QED Genesis Silver Spiral loudspeaker cable, however this results in a product that has a very high quality sound performance, but is expensive to manufacture and can be difficult to terminate. Hifiman2007 said:As I said I do think analogue cables can sound different. However sometimes different is not better. Monster cables for instance have gone virtually bust because it was made clear that they sold overpriced cables that made no difference ....hifi magazines claimed they did and regularly reviewed as such. Obviously sold advertising space. So I think what hifi and other reviewers have a duty to make it clear they prefer the sound of the cable and not blindly say "it is better" I just wish they would take blind tests without knowing price ,brand, of item that would be more realistic and accurate. Anyone would be influenced by knowing price or brand first.

This is a silver plated cable, giving a smooth sound with excellent detail. The Aircore technology offers lower inductance and thus distortion by providing a conductor in the shape of a tube with an inner aircore, around the cable. Having a similar effect to the, much more expensive, option of individually insulating the wires, X-Tube provides a cleaner sound with improved transparency. Unlike individually insulated cables, it's also easy to terminate. When connecting your analogue sources such as your CD player or turntable to your amplifier, here at QED, we have a cable to suit your system. From our entry level Profile cable through to our flagship Signature Interconnect. XLRMetre Pre-terminated QED Silver Anniversary Pair of Speaker Cables using QED Airloc Banana Plugs with Plastic, colour-coded bodies also available Or if not, then the creeping of a bow across the strings of a cello, or the excess air as it breezes through the mouthpiece of a tenor sax. For use with Laptops/Computers and portable headphone amps/dacs, the QED reference USB A-Micro B uses our Ferrite insulation to reduce Jitter, as well as isolating the data and power lanes for a cleaner overall signal. AIRLOC is QED's specialised loudspeaker termination method and offers the very best termination with QED speaker cables. This is a solder-free, airtight fusion between the cable and plug offering optimum signal transfer, excellent signal quality and perfect long-term performance.

The Silver Anniversary XT cable delivers superior performance for all your hi-fi and home theater needs. It was designed to replace the Silver Anniversary speaker cable, combining the features of Silver Anniversary with the added enhancement of X-Tube™ technology to combat the skin effect and deliver stunning detail. At low frequencies both X-Tube™ and conventional stranded/solid core speaker cables convey signals in a linear way. However, at high frequencies, X-Tube™ retains a near-linear signal transfer, whereas the conventional cable fails to conduct uniformly across the entire conductor area. This delivers greater fidelity across the audio spectrum which would otherwise be lost in ordinary cables. The multi-award winning Silver Anniversary XT cable delivers superior performance for all your hi-fi and home theater needs Custom cut cables available to any length and available with choice of Banana plugs or Spade connectors X-TUBE with Aircore™ technology exhibits much lower self-inductance and is therefore less affected by this problem. The use of an innovative Polyethylene aircore enables a reduction in loop inductance to levels only usually achievable by using more costly and difficult to terminate cables. The ultimate outcome of conditioning cables with the Nordost VIDAR is improved sound staging, increased detail, and an overall more musical presentation in your audio system. The QED Silver Anniversary-XT is a standard 'figure 8' configuration and is attractively finished, with each silver-plated core visible through a flexible 3.9mm diameter clear polyethylene outer sheath. For ease of assembly and to ensure correct speaker 'phasing' the inner spacers, which maintain the cylindrical configuration, are each coloured coded red or white and are 'crushable' to allow straightforward crimping with 'Airloc' speaker plugs.Signal Transmission: The burn-in process establishes the directionality of the cable, optimizing signal transmission from one end to the other.
