Description

I’ve got a pretty strong record in guessing who has committed the crime in a thriller novel & did work this out l but it wasn’t straightforward, with a lot of suspects and my guess was mainly due to some fairly strong hints from the author at times. Emotional, gripping and fast-paced. A taut, extremely satisfying thriller’ Carys Jones, author of THE LIST Julia is the friend Livy turns to for everything, the friend who has been through all the good and the bad, her link to her murdered sister. But, after a recent tragedy, Livy finds herself questioning whether she ever really knew Julia at all.... I will always be here for you whenever you need a shoulder to cry or lean on and look into your eyes as I tell you that all will be alright. I love you forever. Although this was a good story, I thought some of the characters were not very convincing and found the whole story to be a bit drawn out and lengthy for it to be as compelling as it could have been.

This doesn't put me off of reading other books by her though, because all books are different as are stories even when related by the same person.WILL – Former cheater, now turned over a new leaf. Doesn’t really seem to think that much of his wife so again … why are these people still together? Honestly, there’s not a lot I can write about Will because he’s just so meh. Eager for a big score, Leo catches in her crosshairs Michael Forrester, a self-made billionaire and philanthropist. When her charm wins him over, Leo is rewarded with an invitation to his private island off the California coastline for a night of fabulous excess. She eagerly anticipates returning with photos that can be sold to the paparazzi, jewelry that can be liquidated, and endless stories to share with Summer.

You can trust me: Five shortcuts to show that you’re for real

The writing style was one of the main factors that brought this book down for me, I just didn’t get along with it at all. For a mystery thriller, it did far too much telling the reader what was going on instead of making them work it out. There was barely a mystery in many aspects. I also found the fact that the protagonist was able to make such great leaps and jump to conclusions so easily without any clues or facts felt highly unrealistic, and it started grating on me a little bit. There was little to no adequate thought process behind it, so how she was jumping to these conclusions was beyond me. Cats: An incredible novel all round! Most probably a new favourite. I'll re-read and highly recommend. With her two children in tow Livy calls out as she walks through Julia's flat, hoping that her friend may just be suffering a hangover or such, yet concerned at her friend's uncharacteristic absence. When I fell in love with you, I trusted you with all my heart, my soul and my body, and I need you to trust me as I will never do anything to hurt you. I love you more, darling.

You Can Trust Me: The gripping, glamorous psychological

You’re the queen of my heart and I will always be here to treasure you and cherish every moment with you. I love you tenderly, cuppy cake. When Livy arrives at Jula’s flat for a lunch date, she finds her dead, as she did not answer her text the previous night and now feels guilty. Of course, her death was ruled as a suicide; however Livy cannot accept this decision, and begins to dig further to solve the mystery of her friend. She knows her friend loves life, and would never take her own life. What if she was murdered, and by whom? Could the killer be one of Livy’s friends, family or acquaintances? Cats: I just couldn't connect with it. The book had a few good points, but none that I like in a book. So! Readable, not awful, not brilliant. It was not terrible, just has some weaknesses in it from this seasoned psychological thriller readers' perspective. You may indeed really like it, don't take my word for it, sometimes you need to find out for yourself.
