This book was told from Abby’s point of view and narrated by Lisa Larsen. Lisa did a great job and has a few different voices in her repertoire, though I do like duet narration best, where the female does all the female parts and the male does the male parts. Even so, I enjoyed Lisa’s reading style and she has a pleasant voice, so it didn’t deter from the story. Immortal Nights is another must read adventure in the Argeneau series. I loved Dante but his twin, Tommasso, has brought that same smoldering sexy steam…maybe even more.

I received this ARC copy of Immortal Nights from Harper Collins - Avon in exchange for a honest review. This book is set for publication September 20, 2016. Things have not been going well for Abigail. After her mother is diagnosed with cancer, Abigail feels that she has not choice but to drop out of medical school to care for her. For months she acts as her mother's caregiver, putting her life on hold but its a sacrifice she's willing to make. When Abigail's mother dies, the only relief that Abigail has is that the money she had saved for medical school and the sale of the house is enough to pay off all of the medical debt. Unfortunately, this leaves Abigail with a few hundred dollars to her name, no job, no plan and feeling alone. When she gets the chance to visit her childhood friend, Abigail jumps at the opportunity never guessing that will lead to her involvement in a kidnapping and ultimately, change her life forever. I'm not sure why I let myself get so far behind on this series. Here's the thing, I really enjoy it so...I think it's just that for a while there I was reading the same authors over and over and the same type of book that I got a little burned out. You know the Immortals are being kidnapped and experimented on but you never learn why. What does the Big Bad guy want?In this one the relationship is actually pretty good. The last one fell flat so this one was a nice romance. I'm addicted to witty, vampire romance and Lynsay Sands has surprised me more than once. But this one failed on all counts. As I mentioned above, I really enjoy this author. I've kept up with her historicals and usually her paranormals too. For me, Sands is a comfort read. One of those authors that can start reading and get right into the story. I love that about her. man’s life, because the world sprang from darkness, she might be called a boundary to the universe, and of course, she demarcates a man’s day. Agamemnon cries out to Zeus, "Let not the sun go down and disappear into darkness until I have hurled headlong the castle of Priam blazing..." (II, 413) He feels he must accomplish his objective in one day. That daily sense of urgency is carried over into the Greek concept of a lifespan. The mortal’s time on earth is short; he must achieve as much glory as possible within that time if he is to be remembered after death. That urgency, combined with a newfound sense of the futility of man’s efforts when the end is inevitable, drives Achilles mad. In his great speech to the convoy sent to him by Agamemnon, he betrays his frustration with the confinement he now sees in an attitude he once unquestioningly accepted. almost want to give it 4 but it is just not there. I enjoyed it and the series was a favorite so I feel compelled to bump it up but after reading so many better PNRs I just have to leave it at just good.

It read like the miserable journal entries of a girl lost in an unhospitable environment with a gorgeous guy who blows hot and cold. You will soon find yourself hooked with its fresh fantasies as you keep enveloping in darkness and learn how to claim ascendancy over the weaklings. The major highlight throughout is the thrill and horror of combating wild creates of the night. Not being able to anticipate the numerous possibilities of this vampire game makes this the finest of its kind. You've got choice either to choose to be a bountiful vampire or a powerful wolfman. So I've finally read Immortal Nights which is the twin of the prior book. If you've read the series then you know that you wanted to know more about these twins. Throughout the series whenever they are in a book they are a complete mystery. Yes, you know who they are, but since they didn't really talk much you did really get the feel for them. I've read all the previous books in this series and have adored them, Immortal Nights and the previous book, Runaway Vampire, just didn't seem get me like the other books in the Argeneau and Rouge Hunter series. Which is a shame as I loved the Notte twins when they have appeared as secondary characters in other books. I also am glad that it seems like you got a little bit more information about what is going on with the missing people. I'm really enjoying this substory in the series. It takes a long series and rejuvenates it.

Immortal Nights although a bit silly and has too much fluff in the plot at times....was a fun and entertaining story with a bit of adventure and sensuality to curl your toes!!!Abigail es una estudiante retirada de la carrera de medicina , cursando el sexto año . y ella solo porque esta resentida que Tomas no la mirado ni besado ni tirado encima ( mi amor , estan en una isla perdidos deben sobrevivir no otras cosas ) mientras duerme le pone algo no recuerdo que algo que termina atrayendo animales , bichos , cangrejos que le pica el organo sexual de Tomas .

death. Darkness mimics Hades, and at night, the dead may visit the living. Just as the grieving Achilles finally drifts off to sleep on the beach of Ilion, Patroklos visits him in a dream. He begs Achilles to release him from his purgatory. Night is associated indirectly with Sleep and Dream, for without her they could not exist. Sleep and Dream, through Night, facilitate man’s journey through life and into death. Dream, springing from dark unconsciousness, often brings the unknown to light. Only through Dream does Achilles learn of the condition of Patroklos’ soul, and Dream often conveys prophecies or messages from the gods. Sleep (who is protected by the goddess Night) mimics death, and one day is symbolic of a lifespan. Night herself brings daily renewal to weary mortals, helping them live as well as die. So, Lynsay Sands totally amazes me. Twenty four books into the Argeneau series but, she always comes up with a new storyline and characters that are fun and exciting. She mixes the old with the new, always makes me laugh and definitely has me looking for a life mate. Well I have read every one of these Argeneau books and have loved them all, some much more than others to tell the truth. Which is why at the time I couldn't wait for their books. So of course did I read it? No. But now I have read them both and I'm so glad. I love Tomasso. He is such a wonderful hero in this book. When you first meet Abby you feel for her. She's been through so much and it seems isn't done yet. It's wonderful that after losing her mom that she could find someone to share her life with. Tomasso is just what she needs. I was also intrigued by her friend Jet and can't wait to see what more is going to happen in his life. Not enough humor to make up for the plot. There is a bit but not the constant that some of the older books had. For me, humor can make up for a so/so plot, this one just didn't do it. Admito que despues de haber leido algunas reseñas de este libro esperaba una historia bastante floja pero lo cierto es que yo me lo pase genial leyendo y lo que es aun mejor, se me paso en un suspiro. The island they were stranded on was beautiful but she was tired of running and of tyring to find civilization. When they are rescued, she gets even more confused and becomes extremely ill. There is only one way for Tomasso to save the woman that completes him and he won’t let her die. The next time she wakes up, she’ll be an immortal. The characters were annoying and hard to warm up to, the plot was slow and disjointed. The mythos surrounding the Immortals was poorly explained. And this was very obviously a filler book for the broader, over-arching series plot because a big bad villain is discussed but there’s zero payoff to his story. I have to say that the story is predictable and formulaic with the exception of the mysterious Dr Dressler who is intent in capturing the immortals so that he can experiment on them (and perhaps find out their secret to immortality). But that's the thing - if you have been following the series like i do then you would probably diligently still read the books even when the stories are no longer like what it used to be (the stories used to have a fair amount of humour and uniqueness for each of the immortal characters but for the past 10 books or so the humour is no longer there and the stories have become a mere vehicle for something like a series "finale"). There was a point when the series was downright blah but with these two books on the twins the story is heading to a new direction with the addition of a real villain that adds to the long lost intrigue to the series.
