I also get more amber and something darker, almost masculine (not in a bad way but seductive), something almost leathery, could be the effect of the Labdanum, and I'm obsessed with it. Scent lasts for days on my clothes too, but recently I went to a friends house and she asked if I came from a Hookah Bar? I thought it was the most special, unique smell in the world and it made me feel like a grown up edgy lady even though I was more like Tina Belcher than anything. This is much more complex-I do get the berry notes but there is a warmth behind them-mostly amber,balsam and musk. Yes it’s full of very sweet dark berries and vanilla but the resins, incense and labdanum elevate it to just another level, so mysterious and intriguing.

I still enjoy it, and it still is one of the most unique bath and body works scents in my book, if not a little dated. When I first smelt it, it was like this huge burst of berries and flowers, almost like candy but less sugary and more creamy.I always feel like there's a vampire coming or the ghost of my dead relative is just right behind me. Essentially to me it's just a grown up version of just about any other floral and light musk BBW scent. I just purchased this and after a full day I smell like the Strawberry Shortcake doll named "Cherry Cuddler".

So a long time ago I smelled more of a warm, ambery, tropical floral, and now I can get that blackberry frozen yogurt undertone.After a few minutes, the berry stands out, then the musk + incense lingers which reminds me of VS Velvet Amber Blackberry (which I adore), though BBW Dark Kiss is sweeter and longevity is much better. The body cream is so strong you almost don't need to use another product from the line, but I decided to invest in the body mist to really insure longevity on this scent. The performance is amazing; the lotion and mist will last 6-8 hours (especially the older narrow waisted bottles). Not sure why this wound up "online only" for them, except maybe it doesn't suit their teen demographic.

While I obviously believe that this is a "young" scent, my late mother wore this throughout her 60s.If anyone has any suggestions or more dupes for dark kiss pls comment up above and I will be very grateful.
