Description

The Inissia is a tiny machine – 230 x 120 x 321mm (HxWxD). In fact, the Inissia is so tiny that Nespresso even sells a carry bag for it, so you can take great coffee with you everywhere. Even those who can’t see themselves carrying a coffee machine over their shoulder will appreciate just how little counter space the Inissia takes up. This streamlined espresso maker doesn’t offer automatic capsule ejection, so you’ll need to raise and lower the lever after brewing. The capsule container is fairly large and capable of holding 10 used capsules. To calculate the average price, we add up the cheapest daily prices of the last 90 days and divide by 90. Other important design features include a fast-heating boiler and automatic pressure release valve to ensure safety in the event of a clog. Many busy people worldwide love being able to prepare just one cup of fresh coffee with the touch of a button. Capsule coffee machines make this process easy and convenient, and in our opinion, Nespresso makes the best machines.

The Inissia works with all of Nespresso’s Original coffee capsules. Take a look at our list of the five best Original capsules and start brewing! The drip tray is hinged, so it can be flipped up to make room for large cups. This hinge is worth remembering – a few times during testing, liquid from the drip tray was spilled as it was emptied. The Inissia’s handy energy-saving mode will switch itself off if you forget. Learning to use the Inissia is hampered by the instruction booklet – instead of text directions, everything from making coffee to descaling is displayed as diagrams and symbols with a key. The downside of this is that it makes the machine look harder to use than it actually is, but once you’re up to speed with the basics, brewing drinks is straightforward. There are only two buttons to contend with – espresso and lungo, which also serve as on and off – and it’s ready to make coffee in 25 seconds from switching it on. Keep in mind that this model doesn’t have a cleaning indicator, so you’ll have to remember to clean it after 1,000 to 4,000 shots of espresso. Warranty With paper-based capsules, sometimes a few drops of water leak into the cup at the beginning of brewing. All the Nespresso machines are equipped with a 19-bar pressure pump, which provides the power needed to pierce the film of the capsule and reveal the coffee’s 900 or so different aromas. The shape of the Nespresso capsule has been specially designed to ensure that the pressurised water flows evenly through the ground coffee during extraction. The temperature and flow time are also set to ensure that each precious aroma is expressed. You’ll also need to consider how much you care about the appearance of your machine. The Inissia looks cheaper, but it comes in various colors that you can match with the other decor in your kitchen. If a cohesive look is vital to you, the Inissia is a good option.

As part of Nespresso’s Original line, the Inissia is compatible with a wide range of pods, including our five favorites.

Other Models to Consider

The Essenza Mini does not have a built-in milk frother and comes with two pre-programmed drink volumes: classic espresso and lungo. Both can be reprogrammed to suit your tastes or stopped manually during brewing. When turned on, the machine heats to brewing temperature in 25 seconds.

Your appliance contains valuable materials which can be recovered or recycled. Leave it at a local civic waste collection point. I've just opened my new appliance and I think there is a part missing. What should I do? Want a more straightforward process? You may prefer the Evoluo or VertuoPlus, both of which are designed to brew up to 14 ounces. The most significant difference between the Inissia and the Pixie is the quality of materials used in construction. The Inissia is made of cheaper plastic parts, so it has a lower quality feel and is less durable. On the other hand, the Pixie is made of strong, long-lasting materials like stainless steel and metal, so the machine looks more premium and is likely to last longer. Scale deposits naturally form in your coffee maker. Regular descaling helps protect your coffee maker and ensures it a longer life. It will also help maintain a quality of coffee that remains constant over time. What is the best way to descale or clean my espresso machine? If irregular blinking, please verify that the machine is not in descaling mode (flashing fast and regular). Machine ON, try to exit descaling mode, by pressing both buttons for 3 seconds. The machine should stop blinking.Although these machines are very similar in many ways, they both have subtle differences that make them unique. Below, we’re discussing the pros and cons of each machine so you can decide which suits your coffee needs better. Nespresso Inissia Overview Craving for a mild and delicately toasted coffee? Cosi has this surprisingly smooth touch to its blends.
