This is Nikka`s approachable, entry-level single malt from Miyagikyo distillery, which is light in body, yet full of flavour.

Masataka Taketsuru intentionally positioned these distilleries side by side, purposefully aligning them with distinct natural environments and production methods. On the palate, lemon and vanilla flavours come to the fore, followed by notes of fudge and marzipan. With expansion over the years a second distillery (the Miyagikyo Distillery) was added near the city of Sendai in the north of Honshu. This limited edition of Miyagikyo single malt was introduced in 2021 as the first of the “Nikka Discovery” series.
