My seven year old son and I absolutely loved this book. We are a fan of David Walliams books but this one was a little different as it wasn't so focused on one child, but rather a team effort to save Woolly the mammoth. It was funny, engaging, emotional and a brilliant book to share before bed.

First children's book I have read was Matilda by Roald Dahl and I absolutely loved it. From then on my love for children books has grown. This is my first read of David Walliams so I had more expectations and I wasn't disappointed.

This story was about a little girl trying to save an extinct animal from the North Pole and sets out on a boat to find her furry friend a home. I would definitely recommend this book to absolutely anyone.
